Oh well...whatever we have, i think we have to show it during the September Parade..no more secrets! they enemy's attacking you anyway and you're responding with sentences like "we're fighting with 80s weapons" (even if it was to draw sympathy in europe).

We have to show a force that will make the azeris think a 100 times before making a move against Armenia.

They threw every modern thing they had against us and we resoundly beat them with simple old fashioned cannons. They are a laughing stock. Doesn't get much better than that.
Message was real clear ... If we use any more than a fraction of our defense capability, they're back to nomads living in yurts.

Both sides have effectively neutralized each other's air forces with the S-300s, that's why the only thing missing in Azerbaijan's attack was jets and they grounded their helicopters after they lost 1-2 expensive helicopters within the first hours of the war.

Both sides have effectively neutralized each other's air forces with the S-300s, that's why the only thing missing in Azerbaijan's attack was jets and they grounded their helicopters after they lost 1-2 expensive helicopters within the first hours of the war.

As both Eddo and Wingman have pointed out, air supiriority aircraft pave the way for the ground troops and ground support aircraft like su 25 and attack helicopters.
Azer turc was afraid to use their spendy aircraft after getting slapped a couple of times (lol).
We never had air superiority aircraft, so no neutralization upon us.
We can talk measures, counter measures, counter counter measures etc all day long, but fighting is fighting, and if your fighting with us, better bring a lunch.
As far as I'm concerned, s 300 is made to be destroyed along with enemy aircraft and ground troops. Then su 25 and helo gunships clear our ground offensives path.
They kill elderly men and women and children.
Everybody saw what happens when they have to fight men. The cowards ran to Russia trying to stop our men.
It is exclusively our lack of financial resources that we don't utilize modern supersonic aircraft.
Not because they have S 300.
Monkee knows what to do with bananas.

Hi folks. Long time observer of the thread. Sign up a few days ago and I figure I'll get in on the conversation.

Regarding fighter jets, in theory there is no question that having supersonic jets is a plus. But, realistically, given the limited resources, is this really the best use of funds for Armenia at this time? A unit of Mig29 is what, $20-$30mil? You get 6 of those that puts you back $150mil give or take. Is that the best use of resources? Is there anything else that amount of money can be spent on that would generate more bang for your buck?
