Arm the Kurds? First, We are in a state of war. We shouldn't be arming anyone but ourselves. Secondly, the Kurds will not fight against the Turks and just hand the land to the Armenians. They want that land for themselves. An enemy of the enemy is a friend, but at a certain point in time, we will undoubtedly have issues to solve with the Kurds as well. Hopefully, it can be solved diplomatically.

let's not get too excited and act like Santa is granting magical wishes here. Let keep our goals realistic. If the Kurds were able to establish de-facto rule over some of our border with Turkey, it would be an absolutely massive step forward in our geopolitical situation. Ideally, they would lose the length of the border to the Kurds who would be our buffer in between. The entire dynamics of the Caucasus would change in that scenario.

Did anyone watch the Lavrov and Nalbandian press conference. I watched it live when it was about to end. However, I did hear Nalbandian say "as my colleague Lavrov mentioned" it wasn't Armenian who rejected the so-called Kazan settlement plan (which we've been told is almost identical to the "Lavrov Plan") but rather Azerbaijan. If this is the case, do you think Armenian is still open to that settlement option, even though we've been told countless times in the past few days that they won't return a centimeter of land? Also, what implications can this have if Armenia agrees to this new plan and Azerbaijan rejects it? Will it play in our favor, or will they ratchet up the pressure on Armenia to make even more concessions?
