Well done burjuin, I am pleased about that.

Funny how Gword changes dates as you zoom in.

          .
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

60-70% of the victims of the Azerbaijani side are Special Forces

            April 26 2016

Presently, the Armenian side does not have clear evidence of the
involvement of “gray wolves”, militants of the “Islamic State”
terrorist group in Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the four-day war in
April. This was told by Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson and
military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan during the meeting with students
at YSU. He informed that one information is proven that a Turkish
Armed Forces Reserve in the Azerbaijani Army was killed, “In such a
case, you cannot voice a state targeted accusation because the man had
gone to fight for his fraternal Azerbaijan.

Should we have information about the IS’s involvement, we will let you
know in the near future. 60-70% of the victims of the Azerbaijani side
who was the first to attack are the special forces of Azerbaijan, they
were not conscripts; officers, warrant officers and contractual were
fighting,” said Hovhannisyan. He immediately answered the question of
why skilled officers were not fighting from our side, “First of all,
it is an extreme military mistake to use only the professionals.
Azerbaijan has no confidence in its armed forces, therefore, they took
this initiative by pushing such armed forces to the front. Azerbaijan
is proceeding by the way of eliminating its special units as in the
whole world the special squad is prepared for 10-15 years.” Mr.
Hovhannisyan also noted that colonel, lieutenant colonel and majors
were among the victims of the Azerbaijani side.

Armenia has not used its potential to the full: Bordyuzha

                17:43, 26 Apr 2016
                Siranush Ghazanchyan

Armenia did not apply to the Collective Security Treaty Organization
(CSTO) for help during the escalation of the conflict in Nagorno
Karabakh, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha told reporters
                today, RIA Novosti reports.

Bordyuzha added that he understood from contacts with the Armenian
leadership that “Armenia had not used its potential to the full,”
                therefore, no requests followed.

Asked whether the CSTO would come to help only in case of assault
against the internationally recognized borders of Armenia, the CSTO
Secretary General gave a positive answer.

At the same time he noted that the situation in Nagorno Karabakh is of
great importance for ensuring security in the area of CSTO
                responsibility.

“In case of recurrence of hostilities, we’ll witness an active and
direct armed confrontation that will “explode” the whole Caucasus.
Many countries will get involved in the conflict, and it will affect
many peoples in the Caucasus. It’s very serious and ensuring peace in
Karabakh is a must today, otherwise a very large-scale war will burst
in the Caucasus. I’d not like to see that,” Boryuzha declared.
General Antranik (1865-1927): “I am not a nationalist. I recognize only one nation, the nation of the oppressed.”

Talish was one of the biggest villages of Martakert, and even NKO, with more than 5000 villagers before 1988.
                      All Armenians, no Torks.
After ocupation of 2 years, very damaged.
After the war, the population was around 550, also because most of its very fertile lands are under enemy fire and battlegrounds....., it was reviving slowly.
It always had a strategic value, linking to Shahumyan, and covering Martakert from North.
