Agree 100% ... They should have dumped them in the valley long ago. That is the only small strip they are on our side of the valley ... as you can see now they have the hill.

That's the position they got on the hill, and Tap Qaraqoyunlu is behind it.

Hard to tell ... Most likely it was their old position cause of the stone structure, looks like it was there for a while. See the attached map with arrows.

Yes, as you can see it was a small strip that they had on our side of the valley, now they have the hill. The rest of the border the valley was the divide.

I don't know why we didn't build our trenches on the hill to begin with. They would have never been able to take it. Seems like we went down the hill and got positioned there.

We had trenches on the hill and two layers on the foot of the hill. Unfortunately that was their first day of surprise attack they took it all and reached Talish. We eventually pushed them to the hill. As I mentioned, if we had sensors with shot gun artillery they would have been toast from the first minute. Live and learn from our mistakes.
