Looks careless to leave them there and cause pain to the inhabitants in Talish.

Agree 100% ... They should have dumped them in the valley long ago. That is the only small strip they are on our side of the valley ... as you can see now they have the hill.

Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying our MOD isn't truthful. I'm just trying to better understand the situation, thank you for those images.

That's the position they got on the hill, and Tap Qaraqoyunlu is behind it.

Hard to tell ... Most likely it was their old position cause of the stone structure, looks like it was there for a while. See the attached map with arrows.

I don't know why we didn't build our trenches on the hill to begin with. They would have never been able to take it. Seems like we went down the hill and got positioned there.

I know that's not what you're saying Shan't jan. Like I mentioned, I thought the same thing as you when I saw the images of them on the high ground.

We had trenches on the hill and two layers on the foot of the hill. Unfortunately that was their first day of surprise attack they took it all and reached Talish. We eventually pushed them to the hill. As I mentioned, if we had sensors with shot gun artillery they would have been toast from the first minute. Live and learn from our mistakes.
