Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia have agreed to jointly ensure security at oil and gas pipelines, Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz said Sunday.

BAKU (Sputnik) – The three countries share the South Caucasus Pipeline known as the Shah Deniz commissioned in 2006 with the annual capacity of transporting 25 billion cubic meters of gas.

"The ministers of the three countries discussed the issue of oil and gas pipeline security and have agreed in this regard," Yilmaz said in the northern Azerbaijani city of Qebele.

He spoke at the fourth trilateral defense ministerial meeting at the invitation of Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, who said earlier the three countries had agreed to hold joint military drills.
Plans are underway to connect the Shah Deniz with Europe as part of the Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP), expected to be built before 2019.

what is this talk of 7 million square meters of land lost on the northeastern section of artsakh? is this just provocations or is there any truth to it?
That talk of 7 million square meters is simply inaccurate. It is the political opposition using the figure for their own political motives. Even if it is true (which again it isn't), 7 million square meters is 7 square kilometers. NKR is 11,458 square kilometers. Losing 7 square kilometers is barely 0.0006% of the total territory of Artsakh. Assuming this is true, and considering that they pulled off a surprise attack using drones, rocket systems, artillery, tanks, helicopters, and a large chunk of their special forces, losing only 7 square kilometers is not a failure on our end.

With this said, Armenian MOD spokesman already addressed the issue. This is not the first time in 24 years that the borders have changed. Sometimes we've gained and other times we've even given up a few acres to improve our positions. The MOD spokesman explained that the borders are not static, they are dynamic. They set up a new position or carry out engineering work to add new trenches we reposition and vice versa. It's like a chess game where we are constantly fortifying our positions, building new positions, abandoning some posts which aren't of benefits anymore, repositioning etc. I hope this helps answer your question.

Russia will not like this. Don't be surprised if a large war breaks out and Armenia targets the pipelines.

We almost shot down Azerbaijani aircraft during the 4 day war.

What is important is the fact that much heralded Azery offencive on which they prepared for over 10 years and billions of dollars was defeated by our military. Nobody, even Azeris do not dispute this.
But instead, they try to whitewash by some puny positions that they got. We agreed and stopped the 4 day war for good reasons(prevention of loss of life for one thing). But militarily the results were hugely positive for us. The break up of Azery special forces (Baku saw that continuing and involving general, less qualified military would amount to falling into meat grinder, after what our just 18 years olds showed), our publics reaction in volunteering, our military discipline and effectiveness amounted to pure victory, nothing else.
Let's face it. Before April 5 everyone worried that Azeris would start war that could lead to deafeat for us.
Now? Can anyone doubt that Armenians will not let it happen?
This is a moral victory that's priceless.
Some military observers, even foreigners compare this fight with 1991-94 and think that military equilibrium favors Armenia more than then.
Now problem is that some circles are fishing in dark waters and watering Azery propaganda. Taking our attention and efforts to some irrelevant issues.
Some are doing it for abvious money reasons.
Take that guy that heads our IT for example. He talks as if his team knew about kamikadze drones and had a clear fix, which MOD rejected.
Bottom line is, we should move on with important stuff.
It's been over month and half and some circles want us to doubt and mire in some coverup or "critical failure".
If Azeris had any tangible results, we would still be fighting since April 5.

Why is our MOD suddenly having a food orgy demonstration.

Could it be a distraction from recent events or a show of its non corrupt nature. Naj naj wink wink !!

As a contrast the sultan was showing off boxes of his ammo.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

7 square km's would equall 49 million square metters. 7 million square meters averages out to 2.65 square kilometers. That seems in line with what the Deffense Ministry has been saying. The only issue is that most of the territory lost was heavily engineered front line. As long as we fortify our new position, which we are, their gains are insignificant.
