Who would renounce their identity? Are they retarded ?

Usually when they want to take other citizenship like russian, they have to renounce their armenian one.

At least 25 people from my family and friends took Armenian citizenship.

Thats nice. Armenia needs a population boost like in the 1940s when ppl migrated to armenia from middle east and world. Specially now when outward migration is still worryingly high, though not like in late 1990s.

Armenia had a population boost recently with the influx of Syrian refugees. The problem is that even they do not want to stay in Armenia for various reasons. The only way to tackle Armenia's demographic issues is through peace and economic growth. The present administration has been horrible in my opinion on the domestic front. They could have and should have done much more to boost the economy, limit corruption, build infrastructure, and to make society and economy more inclusive. I think they have done a fine job in regards to foreign affairs but I believe they needed to get involved with China much sooner and at a much higher level. We are seeing some activity in regards to China now so lets hope that this develops into something significant. Many have stated that Armenia does not have allies but I believe this is not true. Greeks, Iran and China are all allies along with Russia. This is a significant alliance and one that needs to be developed further and expanded to other fields. I think a regional security/economic block needs to develop here along the lines of SCO or perhaps just joining SCO by these parties might also work. For many reasons the future of the world lies in the east and Armenia needs to benefit from this if wants a future at all.

Deputy head of Russian Roscosmos space agency Sergey Savelyev stated that earth-based stations for monitoring of signals of GLONASS system will be placed in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Nicaragua.

Savelyev said the stations will be placed in Armenia and Belarus in 2016, and terms of construction of other stations are being discussed.

The biggest contributor to our economy is molybdenum and copper.

It is monopolised by one owner / company.

Listen how the it abuses its position screwing the Armenian exchequer.
