Serviceman injured in military unit dies in hospital

Serviceman Taron Yengibaryan who was recently injured at a military unit in the town of Ijevan died early in the morning at the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.

As the hospital's intensive care department told Tert.am, the death was caused by a brain trauma.

Yengibaryan was hospitalized on January 1 after receiving a serious brain injury during a clash between the commander of the regiment and a few civilians in the military unit of Ijevan.

Taron Yengibaryan serviceman was not.He was a civilian

Then i've got a question what was a civilian doing in a military unit? I find this very disturbing that civilians can walk in and out of the bases so freely.

Pumping Iron" : Azerbaijan to start production of new armored combat vehicles

Azerbaijan will launch a project on establishment of new armored combat vehicles on the chassis of T-55 tanks this year, APA reports citing military sources. Azerbaijani side is already finished negotiations with Israel (Israel Military Industries) and two Turkish companies which names have not been elucidated.

As a result of the negotiations, different new technique examples will be established in the years coming at the base of T-55 tanks kept in Gobu, the armor training area of the Defense Ministry. After the tests, it will be decided which model will not be produced. Azerbaijani experts have already prepared some projects related to it. Currently, technological systems are setup in one of the plants of the Defense Ministry for appropriate work.

According to sources, during preliminary period, it is considered to establish tracked towing vehicle, highly-maneuverable combat vehicle, mechanized bridge, mine exploder on the chassis of the tanks.
