        .
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

After Putin's phone conversation with Obama, looks like there is some back stabbing going on.

"Russia sends its only aircraft carrier to Syria in response to US

The Admiral Kuznetsov carries far fewer aircraft than its US counterparts. About 15 in total. But the ship was designed with a different purpose in mind — to carry a large number of long-range anti-ship missiles while providing air cover for its fleet."

Russia’s accident-prone aircraft carrier is set to be put to the test — if it gets there. Its history of embarrassing breakdowns may see an anticipated mission to Syria backfire.

                      Diversion attempt reported in Nagorno-Karabakh

An infiltration attempt carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces during the early morning of July 8 was pushed back according to the Defense Ministry of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

The NKR MoD added that the attempt came at 3:20 AM in the direction of Aghdam, and that the Azerbaijai Army violated the ceasefire in different directions by weapons of various calibers.

No casualties have been reported from either side.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense denied it had carried out any diversion attempts.

The attempt is the first of its kind after fierce clashes erupted in early April.
