YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan appointed Movses Hakobyan head of staff of the Armenian Armed Forces.

Hakobyan has been deputy chief of staff of the Armenian army. Earlier he was the commander of the army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

New Prime Minister means inevitable cabinet/government reshuffle. There's talks Seyran Ohanyan will become CSTO chief which would be one explanation as to why he wasn't appointed into any position after being dismissed as Defense Minister.
