I am more leaning to think that those appointments are segment of serjik strengthening controll over armed forces and also removing a potential challenger and a very popular and strong Seiran out of power.
When in an interview Seiran said that he'd never accept position of secretary of CSTO, I thought "good", that position is only symbolic. Has nothing beneficial for Armenia. Seiran Ohanian was a very good leader with his cool headed intelligence. In my mind I likened him to Moshe Dayan of Israel, except instead of an eye Seiran had a foot missing.
But I guess serjik wanted to get rid of him.
Who is this Viken Sargsian? Relative?
Definitely a yellow beaked apparatchik that has not seen any war.
Chief of presidential stuff? xxxx. This means that serjik is replacing a war veteran, respected and powerful military leader with a political chinovnik with abviousely mainly Serjik's butt kisser experience.
      Not good in any angle.
Someday Serjik's head should be knocked off.

There is also some other thought that I have behind replacement of Seiranian that sends shivers down my spine.
How about the idea that in April it was in some circle's interest that we should have lost that war or something like it, so land exchange could be realized is true?
In that, Ohanian's replacement perfectly fits.
You replace somebody that was a leader of Artsakh liberation with an unknown figurehead that later can be used, blamed and sacrificed after completing a mission of incompetency or inexperience?
This is how all the other crucial ministries and departments in Armenia have been castrated.
Let's see what comes next, before a full appraisal.

I am also concerned with this appointment as he has no military experience of note at all. I do like the fact that unlike many of the oligarchs, this guy is fairly well educated. I do not know if he is a relative but this is definitely a political move to secure control over the army. These moves strengthen my suspicion that the April war was preplanned by all sides involved. We may be seeing the shifting of importance in this conflict from strategic and tactical factors towards more political factors. Is this good or bad? Not sure yet. It would make me feel a lot better if uneducated baboons like Rubo were also replaced.
          Hayastan or Bust.
