Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Let's not underestimate the enemy (Azeris or Turks). We should win the war based on strategy and on the ground, not by making political statements about past glory and victories.

But Azerbaijanis (what ever it may mean), throughout history have been the lowest of the lowest, the most stupid, unintelligent and backward people. That's why the Armenians and Russians were the elite in Baku, Azerbaijanis are just too mongol which is the reason why they have a HUGE inferiority complex. I can assure you, if the oil runs out, Azerbaijan will turn into chaos. Without Armenians and Russians, Azerbaijan will not develop.

Naming the region after Azerbaijan was done to annex the ancient historical province Azerbaijan in Persia. This strategy is highly risky as it can backfire, and in my opinion we should do everything in our might to influence this process. Iran can claim Azerbaijan as an actually part of ancient Persia (which is largely true). Therefore, how much I disagree with the Mullahs, I hope they become more powerful. Azerbaijan is scared to death for these Shiites. I hope one day we will see an islamic revolution in Azerbaijan, and after that the annexation of Azerbaijan into Iran, by which their fake culture will disappear as they have to take over the Iranian culture.

The only negative I see in this is if Iran then claimed Artsakh.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

Georgia and Armenia getting closer, wonder what this really means? Does it mean the Georgians feel the Islam closing in on them? Does this mean now they finally see the light? They like Armenians more then anyone else around them on a personal level, however they have had very bad politics as of late. I sense a change coming, but wonder how effective this will be as they are not too good with Russia. I see this is the biggest problem going forward.

I also think Georgia knows that this oil pipeline is a short lived dream and are trying to get closer to Armenia.

Why doesn't russia build it's own radar station for their A-135 ABM radar network in allied terriroty like Armenia(or even south ossetia/abkhazia/dagestan etc.)? Rather than relying on The Qabala Radar station in Azerfakejan, in which the west-backed puppet Aliyev can decide someday to dismantle it or sieze its operation?
It just seems strange to me that they still use that station. Maybe it's just a matter of money, it costs less to rent it, than to build another one?

Georgia is getting close to Iran recently, and in my opinion are rather disappointed with the West and NATO who've snubbed Georgia since their attack on S. Ossetia. They are also trying to take control of the Caucasus as they have good relations with both us and Azeris, so they think they are in strong position. But in order to really have good relations with us, Georgians need to have good relations with Russia.

                    - It costs a huge sum of money to built it, why should they if they have one already
                    - Strategic location
                    - Plus, they don't want to ''give it up'' so easy to the Azeris (Americans)

Way of thinking of current ruling elites in the South Caucasian states...

Expert says creation of confederation in South Caucasus is possible
                      ......
Alexander Rahr recalled that back in early 1990s the idea of a confederation in the South Caucasus was considered as an option for resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. “Mr. Saakashvili realizes by moving in this direction it will be possible to solve the problems of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. “He definitely does not want Iran and Russia to be confederation members, but has a wish Abkhazia and South Ossetia may join it,” the expert noted......
This type of announcements hardly support your view.

In politics ideas and strategies have a habit of reviving in different guises.
The reason is, the objectives of the bigger actor’s ultimate goal has not been achieved AND they have not given up.
Remember behind every small player there is a big player lurking.
They could only “stop” if an absolute victory is registered by one of the sides.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests
