I agree on the shelling. Let's see where a few dozen of them are and shell the hell out of that area.

Also, regarding what Spetznaz says, that would be a logical idea. Show the world that there was an intentional mini invasion.

Rest In Peace our soldiers. It's very sad.
But I cannot help but notice a fiew points.
      1) As Azeris did the subversion directly on Armenia's border , does it mean that Baku felt that Artsakh's fronlines would be much harder to penetrate? As we know, Turks are but opportunists. Can it be that currently, after all improvements on Artsakh's front lines Azeris avoid sabotaging there and choose Tavush because their positions are more favorable there compared to our's and we have not yet modernized there?
      2) Looking at this incident as a test for both militaries Baku must have gotten one more assurance of Armenian superiority. We have to imagine what Azeris think. Their 7 for our 3(however sad for us). But most important is, Azeris are not sending their regular trench guys to our lines (we allways saw this). They are sending their special Turkish/Israeli (NATO)trained special forces and every time, including this, they are sent back their mother's c u nts in their hands by our regular conscripts.
      Makes you think, right?

As some posters here suggested, they probably chose Tavush because it has been relatively peaceful this entire year. They saw an opportunity to exploit that.

Your second point, if you look at their news, they are saying an Armenian recon team was caught infiltrating their lines. They are so retarded that they are essentially letting the world know what THEY DID. The Azeris essentially look at their crap economy and Manat sinking, but they will post articles about how the AMD is sinking. When their recon forces get liquidated, they say it is Armenian. Psychologically, they are retarded and backwards.

Before you get overconfident you should remember they are attacking and we are defending. Attackers always expose themselves to greater risk and are expected to take heavier losses. It is in the best interest of Azeris and many other powers to irritate potential flashpoints between Russian and Turkish relations now. This attack should be looked at in that context but that does not change our need to respond.

I see, but subversion is not regular attack. Putting special forces against regular conscripts. Surprise is the game here and before you know it they may be on top of you in your trenches and will massacre everybody silently and quickly, and then ratio would change in their favor big time.
We have seen all over the world special ops actions and in allmost all of them they kill scores with no casualties and do serious damage to enemy.
But Azeris have even been beaten up in our trenches in hand combat too.
I still say that all this speaks in our favor big time.
Remember our special ops action retrieving bodies right from under azery special ops noses under heavy fire with 2 Azeris killed and not a single wounded on our side?

From what I'm reading, there's speculation that this Azeri soldier did it unilaterally. Meaning that he took the gun shot Armenian troops which were unarmed.
No confirmation though, and I'm not buying it at this stage.

We should not return the body easily like we did last time when a similar incident happened.
