Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

How can you turn the whole events on its head and present it as a result of not being financially successful? Just ludicrus.

A rebound in oil prices has brought no relief for Azerbaijan, the third-biggest crude producer in the former Soviet Union ... The $33 billion wealth fund has been the only source of dollars at auctions since February, when the central bank stopped sales after its assets declined to $4 billion."

          ---

The drops them down to $29bln. Allegedly. And another $3bln (6bln manat) on state expenditures plus another $0.5bln on some kind of infrastructure/gas expenditure means that they're piggy bank is going to take a hit. The transfer seems like they're going to hold off the slide of the Manat, but we never truly know with these clowns. This is where an Armenian style GRU unit would help in collecting vital intel.

Speaking of central banks...Armenia should build robust financial institutions that aid in development.

          - A central bank that we have should be authorized to make sure prices remain stable and the currency has strong legitimacy, along with regulating banks to make sure they are all financially sound.
-An agricultural bank to make sure that the agrarian sector is well financed, secured, and provides the farmers and peasants with adequate employment and food.
-An Export Credit Agency that finances companies that are looking to EXPORT goods and services. Armenia can be a leader in construction services and pharmaceuticals.
          - A development bank modeled after all the other development bank but specifically there to build Armenia.

Each one of these 4 pillar banks should be considered to be a "policy bank" and aim to strengthen its respective areas. With sound banks that are guided to do specific things well, we can build a strong foundation for an economy and gear us to be better suited to weather any external shock. Having a strong economy will be a weapon against the Azeris. Like South Korea outpaces its North Korean rivals.

Probably the only time in history when turks did anything good towards Armenia.

            Keep out the mongols!

They are sweating so badly with a potential kurdish "nation" with a big portion of it in Western Armenian territories. Trying to control and incapsulate the kurdish population from outside support.
Let us see which direction it is going to be headed once Trump takes office. Already half of Trump's staff are shekelists. Most likely they are going to seek the old secular turkey (good luck).

                  .
Am I under oath ? Is this a courtroom? I'm projecting my values when that is what the world has become. Only someone who has failed will say something like that. Look at our country. A poor nation , no money , it's struggling to build a economy and stay in an Arms race. It's all about money. If we were all billionaires we would be able to help Armenia in a great way. If Pavlik had $$ he would never of risked his riches for such acts. But the guy has nothing to lose. It's a waste of time talking about them. I think our Government , Sasna Tsrer , and the rest of the opposition are hungry egoists. They are nothing but a headache.
For some reason I see brains in our new Prime Minister and his financially well and has a leaders look and talks great but his surrounded by wolves and hopefully he just doesn't waste time . Anyways a little faith doesn't hurt. Can you imagine a group like Sasna Tsrer running Armenia. God help us.

Money is everything! As long you do not worship it. Countries with a large percentage of Northern Europeans have establish multi-layers social safety nets, so some liberals can brag you do not need it. Their safety net was build by money worshipers. Most of that wealth was acquired by pillaging natural resources of continents and some hard work (specially Germanic workers). In short, it is an important part of our lives if you want to have a decent existence, specially if you live outside the countries with safety nets. One has to find a balance with “money”. Lots of it brings decadence and social destruction … How most empires perished.

Liberals don't brag that you don't need money. This is the part where conservatives really have their heads up their asses. Liberals know that you need money to fund those things, so they want to make sure that it is distributed to where it is most needed instead of accumulating at the top.

Armenia is actually a conservative country in this output in that the money is in the hands of the few. What Armenia needs is a real liberal movement, to make society more equitable for everyone. It should start with the farmers and land redistribution. But that is a hard sell to the oligarchs...
