Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures.       In January and February this year, the loss of the Azerbaijani army have increased significantly, reaching 22 people. These findings today at a press conference presented the head of the Center for Investigative Journalism military "doctrine" Jasur Sumerenli.

      According to the news agency Turan, the expert noted that 14 Azerbaijani soldiers were wounded, three were killed in a combat environment, and 19 - is "non-military losses." Of these 19 Azerbaijani soldiers, nine were killed in hazing, and three have died "as a result of disease, two died in an avalanche, two others - were poisoned by carbon monoxide. One Azerbaijani soldier committed suicide, one died in a car accident, another one - he died for unknown reasons.

      Moreover, of those killed were 20 - Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry servicemen, one border guard, another - soldiers of Internal Troops.

      According to the head of the Center for Investigative Journalism military "doctrine" in 2010, the losses on defense and security of Azerbaijan totaled 71 people. In this case, the losses in a combat environment consisted of 17 persons. Non-combat losses amounted to 54 persons: 16 - as a result of hazing, 15 - as a result of accidents in cars and airplanes, 9 - have committed suicide, 7 - had died "from disease, 6 - were killed in unclear circumstances, and one from frostbite.

      As said Sumerenli for the period from 2003 to 2010 the number of casualties in the Azerbaijani army of 465 people. In this case, the victims of bullying were significantly more than died in combat.

      In addition, if during the period 2003-2007. deaths of 187 Azerbaijani servicemen, over the years 2007-2010. 268 people have died. Victims of hazing for 2007-2010. were 68 people, whereas in the previous period is only 33. In the years 2007-2010. The number of suicides in the Army was 35 people, and in 2003-2006. -They were 23.

      "In general, in the period 2007-2010. defense and security of Azerbaijan there was an increase in the dead of parameters such as bullying, car accident, suicide, "- said Sumerenli.

      The representative of Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry, Major Ibrahim Rustamov said at a press conference on reforms in the Azerbaijani army and the improvement of social conditions "of the military. The growing number of Azerbaijani soldiers killed, he explained, "increased dynamics in the army."

      According to the Center "doctrine", after the conclusion of a ceasefire in May 1994, the total number of losses in the Azerbaijani army was 3500 persons.

        Armenian soldier injured in truce violation by Azerbaijani armed forces

        Hovhannes Avdalyan (born in 1991), a conscript soldier of the NKR Defense Army was injured in ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side on March 3, at 11:00 a.m. Avdalyan was injured in a shooting by the Azerbaijani armed forces in northern-eastern direction of the contact line (Jraberd region), the press service of NKR Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

        The injured was immediately taken to a military hospital.

        The details of the incident are being clarified.

          An Armenian soldier was killed as a result of ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side on Friday in the north-eastern direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh.

          Grigor Shakhkanyan (born in 1991) was killed in an incident, press service of the NKR defense army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

          It is the second incident registered within recent two days. Yesterday Hovhannes Avdalyan (born in 1991), a conscript soldier of the NKR Defense Army, was injured in ceasefire violation by the Azerbaijani side.

            There has to be a time when they receive significant reprisals.
            The sooner the better. I hope we can handle it.
            Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
            Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
            Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

                Azerbaijan on March 4 kick-started the manufacture of unmanned aircraft, most probably to peek into the goings-on in Armenia and Armenian-guarded, breakaway Nagorno Karabakh.

                Defense officials yesterday updated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on their progress with the domestic production of Israeli-designed drones. The two models, Orbiter 2M and Aerostar, both manufactured by a local company, AZAD Systems Co., can cruise for five and 12 hours at altitudes of six and 10 kilometers, respectively.

                Armenia, which occasionally exchanges gunfire with Azerbaijan, in the past has complained about Baku reportedly flying drones over disputed Karabakh.

                Drones have become a popular defense toy elsewhere in the South Caucasus, too. Some two months before the 2008 Russia-Georgia war, a Russian jet shot down an unmanned Georgian reconnaissance aircraft that was hovering over breakaway Abkhazia. Since the war, Moscow has offered to sell Abkhazia Russian-made drones.

                The Azerbaijani models, financed by a $3.12-billion defense budget, may not have attack capabilities, but their presence similarly promises to add tensions to an atmosphere already charged with war rhetoric.

                    In the first picture of soldiers does installation of the pipeline for decontamination and deactivation of military technology by means of special substances.
                    In the second scene with smoke grenades simulates the use of chemical weapons.
