What happened to his face? I can see a small scare lower right cheek but what is that white line across his face and head.

And why is that soldiers AK without a magazine? Safety inspection station?

It looks like sunlight. You can see beams of sunlight behind him, which are the same angel as the one on his face.

Can someone explain to me the significance of this video. Don't we shoot mortars at each other everyday? What's the point of this video's release by the government? Is this suppose to be the great response to them destroying the SA-8?
