It all comes to integration. The Swedish experience is very fresh! We do not know what would be the outcome in 20-50 years.
France was forced into it with the “Pied-Noir” when all the past colonial nations become independent. It started with selective jews/ Christians eventually a large flood of Muslims.
Specially the last 20 years it got flooded by Central Africans. Today France’'s most larger cities are shet holes.

Lebanon is probably the only country in the region that has an unforced multicultural society. Except it is drastically shifting to Islam.
In 50 years the population of 60% Christian vs 40% Muslim flipped. Today I think it is close to 30% Christians.
The constant ideology of growth "Strengthen" is destructive be it to countries or the planet. Armenia should look into sustainable and improving what we have. My two cents.

What I mean is, maybe we can change the definition of Armenian to the same as what it means to be a Canadian or Australian. That there can be Armenians of Chinese heritage, Armenians of Indian heritage, Armenians of Arabic heritage. In my vision, Armenia adopts the position of Singapore, Australia, and Canada (especially that last two) when it comes to nationality. We can have Armenian muslims, seikhs, and athetists, liberals, and conservatives. It's the way of the world. Diversity is going to be the ultimate weapon of soft power.

I think its safe to say the French phucked up largely because of their colonial past. The same with the UK. I seriously think if Armenia can create a way to bring people into its country, not slave labor like Qatar but like positive labor like Singapore and Switzerland, we can strengthen Armenia.
I have an easier solution for you.
We can bring from next door, Turkey couple of million good Turks.
It should double our economic growth, double our birth rate and we will be more excepted in the middle east.
PS. I think you are the end product of assimilation in foreign lands.
They say the last thing that dies in a person is his spirit.
Sadly from your attitude I do not see the Armenian spirit.
If you insist you are an Armenian then the only way to describe would be zombie Armenian.
.Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

Your username is londontsi. You work for a living? Live in the UK? Do you not somehow see how the British benefit from letting you into their country? You work, they collect taxes and expertise off of you.
And like you say, that what happens to Armenians in foreign lands. Well do you not think that it is possible if Armenia was a place for people to come to live of all ethnic groups, then their future kids would surely consider themselves Armenian?
I think you're thinking only one way, and not seeing that the opposite is also possible.

Soldiers of the Armenian Peacekeeping Brigade were in Salina in July training with Kansas National Guardsmen of the 226th Engineer Company under an exchange arranged through the National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program. The Guardsmen and Armenian soldiers conducted training exercises in the Humvee egress rollover trainer and in the virtual convoy simulator. They also met with Command Chief Master Sgt. James Brown to discuss future training events in Kansas and Armenia. 891st Engineer Battalion

Get real, analog. This is the 21st century. We're digital now. All signs point to a disaster unless something is done. Encouraging the birth rate of Armenians is a great thing. If Armenia was built with the idea that it will be a great place for everyone, not just those with Armenian heritage, then surely ethnic Armenians will benefit from it too, don't you think?
Has the government recognised and halted those reasons.
Agreed some are outside government control but many are.not.

Banks, multinationals etc have benefited
I live in a fairly nice part of London. More than 60% of the population is ethnic.
Officials are non English.
On my road there are 2 household who are English.
Mirror that on what you wish for Armenia ....... during mass emigration

How many Armenians would wish to go back to Armenia if they could, as in the environment was right.
How many Armenians not born in Armenia specially the youth would love to live in Armenia but cannot because of the local conditions.
