Aravot: Azeris injected Armenian citizen before handing over to Armenian side

“Arthur Badalyan, a 30-year-old resident of Haghartsin village, who has recently returned from Azerbaijani captivity, said Azeris made him some sort of injection before handing him to the Armenian side,” Aravot newspaper writes.
Badalyan fears that it could be fatal for him. According to Greta Zhamharyan, director of medical dispensary of Haghartsin village, Arthur’s health condition is not bad. He is receiving treatment at the rehabilitation center of Red Cross in Yerevan. However, according to villagers, he does not look like himself and is walking with a hazy look.
Tavush community administration provided financial assistance of AMD 20,000 and Haghartsin administration AMD 80,000 to his family.
On May 9, 2009 Arthur went to the woods near the village of Navur to collect mushrooms with his friends from Haghartsin. He was lost in the woods and found himself in the territory of Azerbaijan.
During the Iraq-Iran War the Iraqi POW's were injected with chemicals and fed food containing chemicals that caused the subject to be impotent and loss of fertility.
The azerbabonis might have done this, return the Armenian but make sure he doesn't get any kids.
Unofficial sources: Azerbaijan held accountable for killing 3 Armenian soldiers
May 2, 2011 - 13:05 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - According to unofficial sources, the Armenian side adequately responded to the killing of three Artsakh servicemen at the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces.
During a press conference in Yerevan, member of the Public Council at the RA Ministry of Defense, military psychologist David Jamalyan, quoting unofficial sources, said that three Azerbaijani servicemen were killed as a result of retaliatory measures of the Armenian side.
Jamalyan added that 51 Azerbaijani soldiers have been killed since the beginning of 2011.
A gunfire exchange between the Azerbaijani and Armenian armed forces on the contact line has left several Azeri soldiers dead.
One of them, Mirza Mahmoudzade, reportedly killed by Armenians, was buried yesterday in Azerbaijan, according to the Azerbaijani users of Facebook and Smi2 social networking websites.
Mahmoudzade, 19, was shot dead in a gunfire exchange near a border village. Three other Azeri soldiers are also reported dead. The Azerbaijani news websites are silent about the incident.
Earlier, three Armenian soldiers were killed and one was injured after Azeri forces had opened fire on the Armenian troops. Tert.am has learned that the Armenian troops have launched retaliatory operations across the contact line.
