From last news from war in Idlib it appears that Turkey is swarming the area with attack drones very successfully while jamming Syrian radars. It has hit many Syrian assets, including AA units. I read in western news that it’s in such a level that is becoming a game changer.
I worry that come the next clash for us with Azeris they will do the same. This time not just kamikaze drones but heavy attack drones.
That will be a big headache for us.
It’s time to take measures against that.
In WWII British found a good way to mislead and confuse German Luftwaffe and high command. The decoys. Realistic looking tanks, trucks and artillery made of rubber or cardboard. They’re cheap to manufacture and while German pilots had to spend extra time to figure out which is real which is not the RAF shot down many of them. Decoys also confused German high command about where the real British concentrations were.
Attack drones are controlled remotely by camera. They have to fly high and attack fast not to be shot down. If we can confuse them in any way, that will be a great benefit in diverting their attacks and killing them.
Also, it has become obvious that russian pantsirs are not very effective protecting the airspace.
I hope and think that our TOR M2KM s will be more effective.

I couldn't agree with you more. I think we already have gimmicks of weapons such as tanks and MRLS etc. I did see it on this page a few years ago. What's also very effective are underground tunnels.
Look how much trouble Russia is having with tunnels. They just cant seem to locate terrorists in Idlib. Another thing, one Turkish drone fell out of the sky and was captured with missile still intact.. Apparently the SAA gave it to the Russians. It could be a lie, I believe giving those to the Iranians would of been sweeter. The tides turning, Saraqeb has been captured and the M5 road will soon be free again.. Apparently we just bought Radars from India. Any info from that?

India bags US$ 40 million defence deal to supply 4 radar systems to Armenia

New Delhi: In a significant victory for the country’s defence sector, India beat Russia and Poland to bag a $40 million defence deal to supply locally-built weapon locating radars to Armenia in Europe.

The radar system is developed by the state-owned Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO’s) Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) Bengaluru-based laboratory and manufactured by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).

The deal is for supplying four Swathi Weapon Locating Radars developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and manufactured by the Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to Armenia in Europe," government sources told ANI.



India has already begun supplying the radar system to Armenia in a major boost for the government’s ‘Make in India’ programme in the defence sector.


The Armenian side zeroed in for the tried and tested Indian radar system after conducting detailed trials of systems offered by Russia and Poland. As part of the deal, New Delhi will supply four such systems to Yerevan.

It can simultaneously detect multiple projectiles like shells, mortars fired from various locations within a 50-km radius. It is currently with the Army in LoC in Jammu & Kashmir to track the source of shelling from Pakistani positions. It was given to Army for trials in 2018
