19-year-old Armenian soldier is accidentally killed by fellow soldier - NKR Defense Army

STEPANAKERT. – On September 7, NKR Defense Army soldier Hayk Mkrtchyan died from the shots fired by military serviceman Lendrush Nazlukhanyan, in violation of the rules on handling weapons, NKR Defense Army’s press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Investigation Service of the Armenian MOD has launched a criminal case into the affair, and an inquiry is underway.
The 19-year-old Mkrtchyan, who was recruited from Etchmiadzin, Armenia, was killed at 7 a.m. at a military unit in Askeran, NKR.

Azerbaijani soldier seriously wounded as result of ceasefire violation by Armenian armed forces

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. As a result of violation of ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces, a soldier of the Azerbaijani Army was seriously wounded.
The incident happened in the frontline towards the region of Terter, press service of the Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry told APA.
Soldier Telman Alishah Seyfullayev, born in 1992, was seriously wounded in his left thigh. He was hospitalized.
Seyfullayev was drafted by the military commissariat of the region of Shabran in July, 2010.

Soldier of Azerbaijani Army commits suicide

Baku. Vugar Heydarov – APA. Soldier of the Azerbaijani Army committed suicide.
APA’s Sheki-Zagatala bureau reports that the incident was recorded in the Defense Ministry’s military unit in Sheki region. Soldier of the National Army, drafted from Sheki Region Military Commissariat, Ibrahimov Bakhtiyar Etibar, born in 1993, committed suicide shooting himself with his duty weapon. The reasons of the incident are unknown.
Sheki Region Military Commissariat confirmed the fact to APA’s local bureau. It was said that the soldier’s body will be brought to the region and handed over to his family.
Press service of the Defense Ministry told APA that the incident occurred because of casual handling of gun by the soldier.
