Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.

    Մայր աթոռ սուրբ Էջմիածնում, այսօր` սեպտեմբերի 16-ին, Գարեգին Բ-ի հանդիսապետությամբ, կատարվել է ՀՀ Զինված ուժերի հոգեւոր առաջնորդության դրոշի օրհնության արարողությունը:
    Արարողությանը ներկա են եղել Մայր Աթոռ Ս. Էջմիածնի եւ Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո Կաթողիկոսության միաբանները, ՀՀ պաշտպանության փոխնախարար Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանը, ՊՆ պաշտոնյաներ ու բարձրաստիճան զինվորականներ, ՀՀ ԶՈւ հոգեւոր սպասավորներ` գլխավորությամբ Հայոց Բանակի հոգեւոր առաջնորդ Տ. Վրթանես եպիսկոպոս Աբրահամյանի եւ ուխտավորներ:
    Գարեգին Բ-ն իր խոսքում ասել է. «Այսօր այլեւս մեծ թվով հոգեւոր սպասավորներ իրենց ծառայությունն են բերում հայոց բանակում այն գիտակցությամբ, որ բանակը զորեղ է եւ հաղթական, եթե իր հոգում կրում է Աստծուն եւ իր ընթացքն առաջնորդում է Աստծով: Ահա թե ինչու այսօր նաեւ հայոց բանակի դրոշի վրա մենք կարդում ենք հետեւյալ արտահայտությունը` «Մեր ուղին օրհնյալ է, որովհետեւ Աստված մեզ հետ է»:
    Այնուհետեւ կատարվել է Դրոշի օրհնության կանոնը: Այս նույն կանոնով է օրհնվել նաեւ ի պաշտպանություն հայրենյաց մարտնչող հայ կամավորական ջոկատների դրոշը 19-րդ դարասկզբին:
    Նռնաքարերով ու մարգարիտներով զարդարված խաչով պսակված դրոշի մի երեսին խաչի ասեղնագործ պատկերն է` «ՀՀ, ԶՈՒ հոգեւոր առաջնորդություն» գրությամբ: Մյուս երեսին Զինված ուժերի զինանշանն է` «Օրհնյալ է մեր ուղին, զի Աստված ընդ մեզ է» գրությամբ:

      I was wondering that as well but if you look at the tail attach fittings on the Hermes 450 compared to the 180' boom support fittings they are at different angles. The 450 is at somewhat of a "V" shape (where the rudervators attach to the fueselage) compared to the hermes 180 "A" shape (where the tail boom struts come together at the boom).

      Also if you look at the main Tire/Wheel assemble attachement to the landing gear strut (crashed UAV) you see a curve (a bend) right before they attach together on the strut, similar to the Georgian 450 that was shot down.

      Bellow in the link is a photo of the 180.....look at the strut to wheel attachement, there is no curve. The only curve is where it attaches to the fuselage.

      Furthermore the cowl door (a scoope) for equipment cooling is different size and shape compared to the one we shot down, however the 450 cowl door is the same as the crashed one.


      The crashed UAV's engine/tail area ended up right side up in this picture. The door I am talking about is at the opposite end of the wreck from the prop and it is open at a 30 degree angle (if you guys can see it). If you find an original photo of the 450 (I found one yesterday but I just can't find it now) it has the same scoop on top of the aft fuselage forward of the two tail surfaces.

      Also I don't think Azerbaijan has the 180 on their inventory as far as I know.

      Guys remember when you look at newer 450 UAV they have been heavely modified compared to the original 450. For example just recently Israel upgraded to a bigger more quiter engine, which also changed the air intake and cowling designs. They are using different propellers, They have added winglets to the wings. The on board equipments are more advanced and there are large external pods that can be added to the wings or the body per required mission that would make the aircraft look different than the original design.

        i thinkin on this picture,if its an armenian UAV (?) then why plane at background got Armenian tricolor on it (?)

          It is not a Krug! Krug has 4 tail fins the shot obove showes no bottom fines, that has to be our UAV!

          It's a UAV or I'm going blind in Armenian happiness

          In a few hours there will only be 4 more days

            As far as I know the photo above is an American Aerostar UAV. Someone posted the link on this thread a while back.....the Armenian made UAV has the same design type (from a desk model that we have seen).

                    Armenia has acquired ten new Su-27 Russian-made. Information on this confirmed to REGNUM press secretary Defense Minister, Colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan. Col. Shahsuvaryan did not specify in what state it was purchased by military aviation. Earlier, Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Arthur Aghabekyan said that "Armenia, as appropriate, acquires a new or upgrade existing military technology, and at this stage of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Armenia is in good condition." Some Armenian sources, with reference to Aghabekian reported that new fighters purchased from Slovakia.
