Expert: Azerbaijani army weak, unable against Armenia, what it can do against Iran

Azerbaijani army was weak and unable against Armenia, what can it do against Iran? Iranian news agency “arannes.ir” quotes Azerbaijani expert Zardusht Alizade as telling “Gyundem khabar” daily.

“A theory by Kissinger says the United States will take control over oil rich countries of the Middle East, I think the USA will attack against Iran, however why should Azerbaijan intervene in it, why should Azerbaijan provide its military bases to Israel?” wondered the expert.

USA, Russia, China and Iran have their own policies, concludes Alizade: “If small countries like Azerbaijan intervene in those affairs, they won’t survive. Iran’s army can invade into Baku within 12 hours. Azerbaijan’s army was weak and unable against Armenia, what can it do against Iran?”

lolllllll hores arev this made me faint of laughter and it is after wikileaks anouncing of azeri armies fear over armenian armed forces lolllll
The reason why the Armenian armed forces frequently violate ceasefire in the frontline is their intention to showcase their “power” to the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
Head of the “Doctrine” Military Research Centre of Journalists, military expert Jasur Sumarinli told the statement to Gun.Az while commenting on frequent violation of ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces.

“This at the same time is a hint to the West that the Armenian side can any time launch military operations in the region. With such steps, they seek to form a political pressure on Azerbaijan. And they manage it in some cases.
But in general, these violations for no extent undermine the power of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which remains a source of fear not only for the Armenian army but for its society, as well.

The perspective for real military operations is still there and this is what the Armenians are scared of,” the military expert said.

Baku – APA. “No airdrome and military base of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were given to any country for use.

In general, there is no need for it. Despite official denial of incorrect thoughts and groundless analyses, the rumors on this topic have been still continuing. Evidently some forces are not interested in removal of this topic from the agenda”, spokesperson for the Defense Ministry Eldar Sabiroglu told APA.

Sabiroglu said that the main purpose of the article is to strain friendly and fraternal relations between Iran and Azerbaijan: “It was repeatedly noted that such efforts will have no result. At least our traditions, joint values and close relations will not permit it. It is sufficient to give 1-2 examples. Trilateral meeting of Turkish, Azerbaijani and Iranian foreign ministers in Nakhchivan, adoption of declaration reflecting common interests, then visit of Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev to Iran and statements of our high officials on Iran-Azerbaijan relations afford ground to say that no force can intervene in friendly relations between the two countries”.

US-based Foreign Policy published an article claiming that Azerbaijan allows Israel to use its airdromes.
