Intergovernmental Agreement on Military Technical Cooperation Signed between Armenia and Kazakhstan

On June 5, the delegation headed by the Defense Minister of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
After the welcoming ceremony held for the delegation, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov was met by Seyran Ohanyan and the senior staff of the Defense Ministry and General staff of the ARM Armed Forces. At the meeting ARM Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan awarded the JubileeMedal' 20years of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia' to the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.
The Defense ministers of Armenia and Kazakhstan signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation between the two countries.
After the signing ceremony talking to journalists at the press conference ARM Defense Minister underscored the high level ofcooperation between the two ministries and said that all prerequisites are present to deepen and develop it even further. Seyran Ohanyan also noted that Armenia and Kazakhstan effectively cooperate in defense sector both in the framework of the CSTO and bilateral context pointing out the potential role of the intergovernmental agreement signed between the parties. According to Seyran Ohanyan this agreement will open opportunity for the two countries to cooperate in exchange, repair and technical maintenance of military equipment and to carry out joint projects. The Defense Minister of Kazakhstan thanked for the warm welcome and noted, on his part, that this agreement will give important impetus to the cooperation between the two countries. Adilbek Dzhaksybekov added that besides the military-technical sphere the military cooperation also embraces fields of military education and training, exchange of experience.
On the same day, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov was hosted by the Head of National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan.
During the official visit, the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan also visited the Military Institute after V. Sargsyan and was introduced to educational programs and training process.

Just returned from a trip to Armenia.
Went to Tavush region for "Eating Khorovadz".
First tried to get there via Abaran-Alaverdi axis towards Noyemberyan. The road was still blocked because of sporadic gunfire.
Headed back and went through Dilijan axis.
Business was as usual in the towns and villages. There were even foreign tourists in the area visiting places like Haghpat, Sanahin etc.
People are working hard, weather was great (occasional rains), everything was green (spring).
No one is afraid or intimidated by anybody. Believe me: "We have everything to be pround of our people and young boys".

Nothing to report.
Just a few pictures:




In my opinion, the forested Northwest of Armenia is the most beautifull part of the homeland.


The rivers are fast flowing.


Cows are browsing.


The pigs range freely and have wild boar genes in them.


I almost forgot...the "Khorovadz" was delicious....

nice zoravar! makes me extra excited for my armenia trip on saturday!
I've been to Ijevan and dilijan, it's indeed beautiful, very surreal how terrain changes from almost desert-like mountains to forrest mountains

What's going on with these meetings between Armenian and Kazakh defence ministers. There have been several in the past couple of months, most outside of CSTO (just as meetings between two states). Is there a shift in Kazakh foreign policy?

Nice Zoravar, I was in Tavush last year, went close to the border, it seems in general the populace there as great trust in our boys and for good reason

Where did you eat Khorovac? I also ate in Tavush, but near Dilijan. I forgot name, but it was near a running river and a rather large place.

ՀՀ ԶՈւ պատրաստության պլանի համաձայն՝ ս.թ հունիսի 11-ին ՀՀ ՊՆ վարչական համալիրում մեկնարկել են մեկշաբաթյա հավաք-պարապմունքներ ՀՀ գործադիր իշխանության, պետական և տարածքային կառավարման մարմինների պաշտոնատար անձանց մասնակցությամբ:
Հավաք-պարապմունքները սկսվել են ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սեյրան Օհանյանի «Պետության նախապատրաստումը պաշտպանությանը» դասախոսությամբ: Ողջունելով մասնակիցներին` ՀՀ պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարն ընդգծել է, որ նմանաբնույթ հավաքները հնարավորություն են տալիս բազմապատկել ունեցած հաջողությունները և նվազեցնել առկա թերացումները: Իր դասախոսության ընթացքում պաշտպանության նախարարն արծարծել է երկու կարևորագույն հարց, առաջին` պետության պաշտպանության և ԶՈւ կազմակերպման հիմքերը, երկրորդ` պետության պաշտպանությանը բնակչության նախապատրաստման ուղղությունները: Դասախոսության ավարտին Սեյրան Օհանյանը պատասխանել է հավաքի մասնակիցների հարցերին:
«ՀԱՊԿ-ի դերը ՀՀ ռազմական անվտանգության ապահովման գործում» թեմայով դասախոսությամբ հանդես է եկել ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի առաջին տեղակալ Դավիթ Տոնոյանը: Դասախոսության ընթացքում արծարծվել են նաև սեպտեմբերի ամսին ՀՀ տարածքում անցկացվելիք ՀԱՊԿ Արագ արձագանքման հավաքական ուժերի «Փոխգործակցություն-2012» համատեղ զորավարժության նախապատրաստման և պատշաճ կազմակերպման խնդիրները:

Միջոցառման շրջանակներում դասախոսություններ կունենան ՀՀ ԱԱԽ քարտուղար Արթուր Բաղդասարյանը, ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի և արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարությունների ներկայացուցիչներ:

Հավաքների մասնակիցները կայցելեն նաև ՀՀ ԶՈւ զորամասեր, կմասնակցեն կրակային պատրաստության գործնական պարապմունքների:
Պետական բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների համար 2009 թվականից ի վեր կազմակերպվող ամենամյա դասախոսությունները նպատակ ունեն ամրապնդել ռազմական անվտանգության ապահովման համակարգում պետական բոլոր կառույցների սերտ փոխգործակցությունը, ինչպես նաև պետական կառավարման համակարգի ներկայացուցիչների մոտ բարձրացնել ռազմական անվտանգության ապահովման հարցում սեփական պարտականությունների ու իրավասությունների վերաբերյալ իրազեկության մակարդակը:

So he was shot in the left arm but the wound miraculously healed itself a few seconds later? He is such a great soldier that he was away from his post and wondering in the middle of nowhere? Thank you for posting this video, i needed a good laugh. Im going to re-upload this video in the comedy section. I find it funny how they don't have true heroes, like Monte, so they have to invent things like mubariz supposedly killed over 100 soldiers, lol.
Azerbaijan is very similar to North Korea, to be honest.

This is wht has been making me angry for long time now......Russia doesn't allow us to built viable Airforce capable of defending Armenia (our Eagle on the coat of arms) but sells Migs (Armenian design) and MI-35Ms and such including latest air defense system to the enemy with the excuse that Azeris could never use that against NKR due to terrain. WTF is that, what about the quote above and not to mention that by doing so it makes it almost impossible/suicide for an offensive into flat lands of Azerbaijan towards Baku.

If Armenia could afford to buy the latest and greatest then we could build a viable air force. However, you should know well that in the armed forces, the air force is the most expensive to maintain, more so than navy or army. And what would prevent Armenian solders from marching all the way to the Caspian would be politics. Because if we have the green light from Moscow to go ahead, you can bet they will offer more than just diplomatic cover.
