I agree, and this is what Canadians and Aussies do now. Say you come to Armenia, get a college degree, and a firm wants to hire you in Armenia. xxxx, give that individual citizenship. Want to sign a 4-year military contract? Give him/her citizenship. By then they will understand the culture and workings in Armenia.

The most important thing for us is to make sure we are inclusive as a people and don't let the muzzies isolate themselves in ghettos like the Euros do. The more we can intergrate people, the more reason they will have to support Armenia instead of abusing it.

I think the meaning of the word integrate is misunderstood. It is used interchangeably with the word assimilate.

I have been living in the UK for 40 years. I consider myself integrated in society but I do not consider myself assimilated into an Englishman.
Not only that, I am not assimilated in terms of my country of birth (which is not Armenia).

Most immigrants with some (little) intellect will integrate. In other words they will find their slot in society, in life generally, in order to survive as well as get on in life.

Locals i.e. politicians do not understand this. They operate driven by wishful thinking without focusing on the difference between integrate and assimilate.

That is why many successful first generation emigrants ( in this instance I have in mind Muslim) produce offsprings with very strong emotional ties to their roots.

They will even leave their comfortable life and die for. The only expression you get out of the locals (politicians specially), how is this possible.

I fear what is being suggested here is the same mistake 10, 20, 30 years down the line.

Also, that polished image to the world is what North Korea does as well. They both should show us 95% of their population's living conditions.

Oil money is only part of the explaination
Every year at the time of the Khojali incident there is a massive Azerbaijani campaign worldwide, through media channels, social organizations and public events
By contrast, anniversaries of the Sumgait and Baku massacres (where people were caught not in crossfire, but murdered in cold blood) do not involve even a fraction of the Azerbaijani effort

Agree on that part. The status is only symbolic and there will be separation of government and the "figure". I think by having a symbolic figure will put a cork on the moron oligarchs.
If the heirs don't conform to the status they will know of the outcome. The Husseins of Jordan did well for two generations and it seams they are on the right track for future stability of a country with population of mix and match in a hostile region of the Middle East.

I see what you mean, then in that case I do agree that a symbolic monarchy can be a good thing. It works for places like Spain and Jordan and it seems to add to the cultural life and legitimacy of certain sovreign states. It's better than having a dictator for life that suddenly gets toppled like Qadafi or Hussein of Iraq.

I have to disagree, as this kind of power in the hands of a wise individual can truly be beneficial in the short or medium term for Armenia, but what if his heirs end up becoming dipxxxxs who use the power for harm?

I have a few friends who visited Thailand. Everyone seems to love the King, they all hate his son though. Kind of like Aliyevs clan, most respected/feared the KGB dragon, but this kid now seems to be more about "bread and circuses."

Maybe something more like Singapore? Or a monarchy similar to something the Dutch or Danes have? Definitely not interested in something like the Saudis have though.

Best to establish monarchy in Armenia. A modest wise figure as a focal point instead of a strong centralized government.

The only thing we can learn from them is how to have a strong centralized government. But even if that was something to learn, we could take that same idea from Japanese, Singapore, and South Korea and be more developed than those xxxxtard Turks are.
