ANCA stop interfering with the agenda of the Armenian Government!! ANCA you are not armenia and are not associated with Armenian government! Just bunch of axpars trying to do something armenian in cozy America, with most of them not even going to Armenia. Let Armenia the official country of Armenians make the decisions about Armenia.

Diasporan Armenians should have a role when and if they're relocating to Armenia.
Sheer weight of numbers could give the Diaspora the deciding voice without being exposed to the consequences.

My family were discussing the border issue. Our view is that within 10 years Armenia could be finished. Open the borders, turkish goods & traders will flood the country and buy up the land. The turcs would achieve by commerce what they will never achieve by force.

Should the armenian diaspora have a role in the armenia-turkey dialogue?

The way i see it if the borders open and armenia has better relations with turkey than we wont have to rely on unstable georgia all the time, it will ruin azerbaijans attempt to isolate armenia (azerbaijan fails again), our import/export will increase and with these relations azerbaijan will become more frantic to solve the artskah problem and will listen to what armenia has to say because there biggest ally, turkey, now has relations with armenia. The way it will help turkey is they will receive electricity from armenia very cheap after the hydorelectric plant is constructed on the arax, they can probably get into the eu by showing that they are normalizing relations with a country they have not had relations with since 94.

If no one throws a monkey wrench into it, this makes sense and we wouldn't need to oppose this government.
