Not sure I ever read that it was rejected but nonetheless, simply the fact that they would even consider discussing such a matter with one another goes to show the level at which they are into each other's asses. While it seems to have died down for now, there is another matter that is more worriesome and that is the alleged attempts by SOCAR to buy the gas pipeline feeding Armenia once Georgia privatises it. If that happens, it would certainly raise more than one eyebrow yet sadly, not be so shocking to me.

There is really one single dispute between both countries that should be exploited by the RoA and that is the status of the David Gareja monastery complex http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_G...border_dispute

Georgia has assured us on numerous occasions that it will not allow Azeris to purchase that Gas line. Hopefully, they stay true to their word. Georgia has enough problems with Russia, it's going to maintain good relations with both Azeris and us, and in the process maybe position themselves as the mediator between us and the Azeris. With whom they have better relations is subjective in my opinion.

I think this is appropriate for this thread:

Saakashvili seem to be wearing G. W. Bushes Jacket.
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

And Serzh is wearing the G.W. Bush tie.
