Panama Leaks Implicate Family Of Azerbaijan's Aliyev

The family of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has been tied to secret offshore companies, according to a massive leak of documents from the Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca.

On April 3, an international consortium of journalists released the preliminary conclusions of leak of documents on some 214,000 offshore companies created by the law firm over the last 40 years.

According to the findings, Aliyev's wife, Mehriban Aliyeva, was named one of two managers of a Panamanian offshore firm in 2005, a firm that in turn has control of the Azerbaijani conglomerate AtaHolding. Aliyev's three children and top officials in Azerbaijan's tax office were named as beneficiaries in one document, although it is not clear if that proposal was ever officially adopted.

Aliyev's two daughters controlled a Panamanian firm that held a significant stake in a group of companies developing Azerbaijani goldfields.

President Aliyev's sister was also reported to be the sole shareholder of a British Virgin Islands firm set up in 2005. The firm's registration lists her address as a home in a posh neighborhood of West London.

The VISION of the AtaHoarding sorry AtaHolding

"Acting in line with transparency principles, together with our shareholders, employees and customers and differentiating ourselves by creating high quality products and services to become an organization - example of trust and stability in Azerbaijan and worldwide."

Most likely their oil fund is part of that AtaHoarding

Looks like "Ahmet Erentok" is the money laundering of the aliyev family. He has all kinds of phony "holdings" going on for the last 2 decades.

Securing the aliyev family's wealth with multi layers of companies

The USA if it wanted could have told Aliyev during the meeting in Washington not to attack. Obama remains Erdogan's close supporter

Turkey: Political hacktivist leaks 'citizen database' containing 50 million personal records

A massive data leak has appeared online that purports to contain the hacked details of almost 50 million Turkish citizens – including the country's president Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In an attack that appears to be politically motivated, the unnamed hacktivist has uploaded a trove of details in a 6.6GB file that claims to hold the first and last names, national identifier numbers, mother and father's first names, gender, city of birth, date of birth, full address, ID registration cities and districts of 49,611,709 Turkish citizens.

In order to prove the authenticity of the leak, the hacker published what is claimed to be the details of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey's current president and former prime minister.

Hackers, many linked with the Anonymous hacking collective, have an established history of targeting Turkey. Most recently, a hacker unleashed a trove of data that contained 17.8GB worth of information compromised from a Turkish national police database. Meanwhile, Anonymous officially 'declared war' on the country in 2015. In a video statement posted online at the time, the notorious group accused Erdogan's government of supporting the Islamic State (Isis), also known as Dash.

                  - Erdogan backs Baku -

President Vladimir Putin of Russia, which has sold weaponry to both sides but has far closer economic and military ties to Armenia, has called for a ceasefire, a move echoed by Washington.

But Erdogan -- another regional power broker who has been at loggerheads with Putin since Ankara downed a Russian warplane near the Syrian border in November -- fanned the flames.

"We are today standing side-by-side with our brothers in Azerbaijan. But this persecution will not continue forever," Erdogan said in televised comments.

"Karabakh will one day return to its original owner. It will be Azerbaijan's".

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry discussed Karabakh in a phone conversation on Monday, Russia's foreign ministry said.

In an apparent reference to Erdogan's statement, the ministry said: "Lavrov and Kerry condemned attempts by certain external players to instigate confrontation around Karabakh."

State Department spokesman Mark Toner did not address Erdogan's remarks, but said both sides should resume the internationally mediated search for a settlement.
