Armenian-Iranian joint group should be created to fight Azerbaijani
disinformation

Iran’s position in the 4-day war was restricted and balanced aimed at
preserving the balance in the region, expert Vardan Voskanyan said
speaking to Nyut.am.

“Iran is the only country which has borders with the all three
countries - Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan. Thus the
Iranians are for preserving status-quo and peaceful situation in the
region,” he noted.

The expert said that the Azerbaijani side has always been implementing
hostile actions against Iran which were more of propaganda nature but
at the same time intelligence. “The drones were working not only in
Armenian directions but in north-western regions of Iran, ensuring
intelligence information not only for Azerbaijan but Israel which is
Iran’s number 1 enemy,” Voskanyan said, adding that taking into
consideration Armenian-Iranian high-level relations, Azerbaijan is
carrying out different activities to create cracks in them using
propaganda tools.

The expert said the most effective way to fight the disinformation
would have been creation of Armenian-Iranian joint group which would
have worked on neutralizing the Azerbaijani disinformation. “We need
joint efforts as they endanger not only the relations between the two
countries but Iran’s territorial integrity, harm the statehood of that
country,” he said.

Վերջին երկու-երեք օրերին բավական տագնապալի են դարձել Արցախի եւ Ադրբեջանի սահմանից ստացվող տեղեկությունները, որոնք վերստին հիշեցնում են պատերազմական լրահոս: Ադրբեջանը անցել է կրակի դադարեցման ռեժիմի առավել ինտենսիվ խախտման, քան քառօրյա պատերազմին նախորդած մնացյալ օրերին: Արցախի բանակը հայտարարել է պատժիչ գործողությունների անցնելու մասին:

Առայմ ոչ պաշտոնապես, սակայն տեղեկություններ կան, որ հայկական զինուժը բավական խոշոր կորուստներ է պատճառել Ադրբեջանին եւ նաեւ վերականգնել այն դիրքերի մի մասը, որոնք ադրբեջանական հսկողության տակ էին մնացել քառօրյա պատերազմի հետեւանքով:

Ինչպես կզարգանա իրադարձությունը, դժվար է ասել, բայց տպավորություն է, որ հայկական զինված ուժերը ձեռնամուխ են եղել Ադրբեջանին արդեն խաղաղություն, ոչ թե կրակի դադար պարտադրելուն:

Քառօրյա պատերազմն ընդհատվեց այն կետում, որտեղ հայկական զինուժն անցել էր հակագրոհի, եւ Ադրբեջանը կանգնել էր խոշոր պարտության վտանգի առաջ: Դա ակնհայտ էր անգամ Ադրբեջանի Գերագույն գլխավոր հրամանատարի գործնականում խուճապային հայտարարությունից, թե պատրաստ են դադարեցնել կրակը, եթե հայերը կանգնեն տեղում եւ չգան առաջ:

Ռուսաստանը, որը Ադրբեջանի գրոհի ժամանակ սառնասրտորեն հետեւում էր իրադարձության զարգացմանը, հայկական հակագրոհի ժամանակ հանկարծ միջամտեց ու իր ազդեցությունն օգտագործելով կանգնեցրեց այդ հակագրոհը, Հայաստանի ԶՈՒ գլխավոր շտաբի պետի անունից: Դա ոչ միայն հայկական զինուժին հասցված ռազմական, ռազմավարական հարված էր թիկունքից, այլ գործնականում նաեւ դիվանագիտական-քաղաքական ծուղակ, որից շտապեց օգտվել Բաքուն եւ ՄԱԿ-ին նամակ հղել 1994 թվականի հրադադարից միակողմանի դուրս գալու մասին, պատասխանատվությունը փորձելով դնել հայկական կողմի վրա եւ ակնհայտորեն փորձելով ապրիլյան պատերազմի հրադադարի հիմքով արդեն հրադադար կնքել միայն Հայաստանի ստորագրությամբ:

Փաստացի, կասեցվեց Հայաստանի ռազմական հաջողությունը՝ խաղաղության հեռանկարի փոխարեն հաստատելով ընդամենը կրակի դադարեցում, եւ հետագա քայլով փորձ արվեց Հայաստանը ներքաշել քաղաքական մի գործընթացի մեջ, որի պարագայում ծուղակ ասվածը գուցե լիներ մեղմ բնորոշում, քանի որ այդ գործընթացը կրկին հանգեցնելու էր փակուղու, իսկ Ադբեջանը նոր պատերազմն արդեն վերսկսելու էր առավել նպաստավոր դիրքից:

Լավրովի հայաստանյան այցը վկայեց, որ հայկական կողմը ուշացումով, այդուհանդերձ գիտակցել է ծուղակի լրջությունն ու մերժել այնտեղ հայտնվելու ռուսական առաջարկը: Դրան հետեւեց Սերժ Սարգսյանի խոստովանություն-հարցազրույցը Բլումբերգին, որտեղ նա փաստորեն գաղտնազերծեց քաղաքական գործընթացի թեկուզ իր համար խիստ անբարենպաստ եւ անպատվաբեր ամբողջ բովանդակությունը, ինչը դրանից դուրս գալու եւ վերջնականապես ծուղակում չհայտնվելու թերեւս միակ տարբերակն էր նրա համար:

Դրան հաջորդեց Ադրբեջանի ագրեսիայի նոր ալիքը եւ հայկական կողմի պատժիչ գործողությունը, որ ոչ այլ ինչ է, քան հայկական բանակի խաղաղասիրական գործողություն: Բանն այն է, որ տարիներ շարունակ ռուս-թուրք-ադրբեջանական եռյակի ջանքով տարածաշրջանում խորացված փակուղին եւ ռազմատենչ մթնոլորտը ստեղծել է մի վիճակ, երբ խաղաղությունը կախված է հայկական զինուժի ռազմական հաջողությունից: Որքան մեծ եւ ընդգրկուն լինի այդ հաջողությունը, այդքան մոտ եւ ընդգրկուն կարող է լինել տարածաշրջանի խաղաղությունը:

Ըստ այդմ, հայկական զինված ուժերը ներկայում լուծում են ոչ միայն Հայաստանի եւ Արցախի, այլ նաեւ տարածաշրջանային խաղաղությամբ շահագրգռված բոլոր սուբյեկտների խնդիրը: Այստեղ էականն այն է, որ Հայաստանում չգտնվեն մարդիկ, որոնք կարող են նպաստել այդ խնդրի լուծման այսպես ասած «դիվանագիտա-քաղաքական» մեթոդներով տորպեդահարմանը:

Իրադարձությունների թե վերջին տարիների, թե քառօրյա պատերազմին հաջորդած օրերի զարգացումը, երբ իբր կրակի դադարեցման անվան տակ Ադրբեջանը շարունակում էր սահմանին կրակել ու սպանել մեր զինվորներին, իսկ Հայաստանի ռազմավարական դաշնակիցն էլ շարունակում էր հավասարության նշանը եւ այդպիսով քաղաքական աջակցությունը Բաքվին, ցույց տվեց, որ ռուս-ադրբեջանական ռազմավարական գործընկերությունը տարածաշրջանում չի թողել խաղաղ դիվանագիտության տեղ. եւ այդ տեղը ներկայում ստիպված է բացել հայկական զինուժը:

Դա լավագույն տարբերակը չէ, որովհետեւ պատժիչ գործողությունը ռիսկ է նաեւ հայ զինվորների եւ սպաների համար, բայց այդ ռիսկը կա նաեւ առանց այդ գործողության, փոխարենը չկա խաղաղության հեռանկարը: Հետեւաբար, հայկական զինված ուժերը հենց այդ ռիսկը չեզոքացնելու համար պարտադրված են գնալ թեկուզ ռիսկի գնով խաղաղություն պարտադրելու:

Այլ կերպ ասած, հայկական զինուժը ներկայում զբաղված է խաղաղասիրական գործունեությամբ՝ խաղաղությունը վերականգնելու խնդրով: Հայկական զինուժին ցուցաբերված ցանկացած աջակցություն՝ ռազմական, քաղաքական, դիվանագիտական, նյութատեխնիկական, բարոյահոգեբանական, աջակցություն է Կովկասի խաղաղությանը, ցանկացած հակառակ բան աջակցություն է կովկասյան առավել ընդգրկուն եւ ավերիչ պատերազմին:

President Rouhani Calls US Court Ruling on Iran's Assets as Theft,
Continued Hostility

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani blasted the recent
ruling by the US Supreme Court which authorizes the transfer of $2
billion of Tehran's frozen assets to the families of the victims of a
1983 bombing in Beirut, describing it as an instance of Washington's
continued enmity towards Iran and a clear instance of theft.

"That a court or judiciary in a corner of the world wants to decide
about the Iranian nation's rights and properties is fully illegal and
against the international laws and the central banks' legal immunity,"
Rouhani said, addressing a cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday.

He said that such pressures and illegal rulings by the US judiciary
system is an instance of international robbery and a legal scandal for
the US, adding that the move indicates Washington's continued
hostility against the Iranian nation.

Reiterating that the assets belong to the Iranian nation, Rouhani
said, "The Iranian nation will stand against this incorrect ruling,
and the Islamic Republic and its government will use all their power
to restore the Iranian nation's rights."

In 2012, the US Congress passed a law that specifically directed the
US-based Citibank to turn over the Iranian assets to families of
victims of the Beirut bombing.

Iran argues that Congress is intruding into the business of federal
courts over the case. Tehran has long rejected allegations of
involvement in the 1983 Beirut bombing.

The US Supreme Court on Wednesday ruled that almost $2bn in frozen
Iranian assets must be turned over to American families of people
killed in the 1983 bombing of a US Marine Corps barracks in the
Lebanese capital of Beirut and other attacks blamed on Iran.

In relevant remarks on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad
Zarif lambasted the US court ruling, stressing that Iran doesn’t
recognize it.

"The US has long been taking decisions against Iran which contradict
the international laws and the Americans have filed different lawsuits
against Iran during the past years; (but) we don’t recognize the US
courts' rulings," Zarif said in a joint press conference with his
Macedonian counterpart Nikola Poposki in Tehran.

Noting that he has raised the issue during his recent meeting with US
Secretary of State John Kerry in New York on the sidelines of a UN
conference, the Iranian top diplomat said, "We see the US
administration as the responsible body with regard to this issue and
if they encroach (confiscate Iran's assets), we will claim
compensation from the US administration."

Zarif also announced formation of a special committee in the
government to study the US decision to transfer Iran's assets.

Hmm that is some weird stuff there, just think about it for a minute. A Kurdish site is showing ISIS destroying Turkish tanks. Doeas any of this make sense to anyone?

Reports: Turkey Planning New Aggression against Syrian Soil

TEHRAN (FNA)- Turkey is planning to launch a new invasion against
Syria under the pretext of fighting against the ISIL terrorists, the
Arab media reported.

Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper quoted informed sources as saying that
Turkey is due to intrude into the Syrian territories with the US air
support.

According to the daily, Ankara wants to enter the Syrian soil through
a region 8km in width and 18km in length.

In recent months, several reports have been released about Turkey's
plan, al-Quds al-Arabi reported, adding that it is not clear if the
plan is in line with a bigger agreement between Ankara and Washington
or Turkey's old demand for creating a buffer zone in Syria.

Earlier reports, in March, had also quoted informed sources as saying
that the Turkish army troops have crossed the border line with Syria
in the Northeastern province of Hasaka and embarked on building a wall
of separation along the border.

The Turkish officials and army men, backed by several Tanks and
armored vehicles, entered the territories of the small town of Tal
Halaf in the Western part of Ra'as al-Ein and launched construction
operation of buffer wall at eight meters inside the Syrian
territories.

British Prime Minister: Turkey is governed by a demagogue pro-Al Qaeda dictator

British Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday blasted Turkish
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, accusing him of supporting al-Qaeda
linked rebels in Syria.

Mr. David Cameron in his two-day trip to Edinborough reiterated his
country’s firm stance against the Saudi-backed terrorism across Europe
and emphasized the urgent importance of strengthening Anglo-American
ties in wide-ranging fields, particularly in combating terrorism.

“I told President Obama earlier this month that MI6 had presented us
with the incontrovertible facts regarding Turkish mischievous role in
Syria and we believe Turkish officials’ current policies won’t create
any conditions conducive to bring peace to the battle-scarred nation,”
the Scottish News Agency (SNA) quoted the British premiere as saying
during a press conference at Edinborough's city council, adding,
Turkey is governed by a demagogue pro-Al Qaeda dictator.

“We still believe Assad must relinquish the power and United Kingdom
along with her other international partners will continue to support
moderate opposition factions in Syria but Turkey's Erdoğan is singing
a different tune by supporting the ‘the very wrong guys’,” added
Cameron urging Ankara to desist from its support for ISIS terrorists.

Meanwhile, President of the South Kurdistan autonomous Region, Massoud
Barzani accused Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) of
providing ISIS terrorists with advanced weaponry, including long-range
artillery , TOYOTA armoured cars and shoulder-launched missiles
(Stinger).

“Kurds lost their confidence with Turkish fascist government as they
witnessed their brothers and sisters slaughtered by Erdoğan’s ISIS
mercenaries and this would eventuate in a long-term sectarian
hostilities between neighboring Kurdish and Turkish communities,” said
Massoud Barzani in a recent interview with Qatari-based Al Jazeera
news channel.

Assad's military claims to have seized Israeli arms shipment in S. Syria

Syrian army sources claimed Wednesday that they had ambushed and captured a group of vehicles packed with Israeli weapons in the southern part of the country. The sources did not say specifically that the shipment came from Israel but alleged that the weapons and ammunition were marked with Hebrew writing, indicating their origin.
The sources also failed to specify the exact location of the ambush, only saying that the vehicles were travelling in the area of Swaida, the main Druze city in the Jebel Druze area.
The ambush was said to have been carried out after the authorities were tipped off by local residents about the movement of suspicious vehicles. Syrian military sources reported that the vehicles carried Israeli mines, RPG rocket launchers, B9 guns, various types of mortars and hand grenades.
DEBKAfile's military sources point out that this report is just the tip of the iceberg regarding the secret war in southern Syria that involves at least 10 regional actors: the US, Russia, Syria, Iran, Hizballah, Jordan, Israel, the Syrian rebels, the Nusra Front and ISIS.
