But the European Union isn't corrupt. It's actually a model for governance. Blatantly corrupt countries like Russia, and even the USA, are trying to break down the EU in order to not be challenged. It's easier for them to put influence on individual countries instead of a single, powerful block. Viva la EU.

Europe has always been a hierarchical society. As an outsider you will always be their bich at the bottom enticed with their fake "we care".
As far the EU union. They cannot even all pick and speak one language. Many countries entered a la carte, as in some are half in, others kept their currency, some did not want to be part, some want in but not welcome. It is a shet hole with pleasant buildings as facade covered by Chinese tourists and a crumbling decadence behind them. I personally piss on their democracy and existence. Viva Armenia and Viva the New world.

The most dangerous thing about what you're saying isn't that you have some animosity towards the EU, but doing so, you actually seem to be absolving the real crimes of the Russians and Americans. RU and US leaders love bashing the Europeans. Mostly because the societies that the US and RU represent are repressive and unequal.

Give me examples of blatant corrupt and lies in the EU. The burden is on you. Imperial goals? Of what? Spreading democracy and human rights? It's funny that this conversation didn't pop up until the Ukrainians decided to get up and join the Europeans. Then the Russians went ballistic. Because the world would soon as be aligned with the "evil" Europeans than the Russian "saviors." Get real.

the EU has been dogging US footsteps like a puppy. One is corrupt but not the other?the EU is a --- PRIME --- source of world corruptiion. Has been since long before its inception. England , France , Germany , Belgium , not corrupt ? Thats truly laughable.

Watch this video and see the Hospitality of Armenians towards Europeans. Now you do some tourism in EU (cities and countryside) and see how hospitable they are.

I am well familiar with the EU. Lived in many EU countries and did most of my college years in EU. It is a nice place for young liberals that are trying to figure out life.

And yet 500million people seem to do quite well in it. Think about what is going to happen to Russian power once Putin passes. The nation is going to resort back to destroying itself, collapsing. Why? Because Russia refuses to go through what all those evil empires, the British, the French, the Belgian empires all did. They lost their colonies and had no other choice but to integrate with one another, peacefully, democratically.

Plus, liberalism is probably what allowed you to spend your younger years enjoying college in the EU. It definitely wasn't the concept of conservatism, which probably would have encouraged you to flip burgers at home and take classes online.

Liberalism and Globalization are the way.

If what you perceive "do quiet well" the 500 million that spend 80% of their income on food and lodging, you might as well enjoy the EU if you can find a decent slavery job (no burger flipping there). As far Russia, the European elitists have been after Russia for over 400 years trying to rob its natural resources to sustain their elitist lifestyle. Too bad they did not succeed yet. They had their gold period with drunken Yeltsin to take over Russia. Putin knew how to send them back to their "insignificant island". I am not a big fan of Russia, but from all (3) major powers trying to be Armenia's "Protectorate" I will definitely go with Russia.

You keep using "Democracy" as if it is universal. Around 80% of a population in most countries of the world are chasing food and their well being. They all live in "Democracy". The part that makes a difference if you are involved in politics or protecting your larger assets/interest than you can keep waving some fictitious "Democracy" flag.

The EU has brought some benefits to poorer members by investing in countries on the southern and eastern tiers
But politically it is hypocritical, and this is clear in the case of Turkey with which it opened talks for membership while Armenia stayed blockaded
The hypocrisy extends to Karabakh whose right of self determination it does not recognize, while wholeheartedly supporting the same for Kosovo
Instead of solving its problem of falling birth rates it brings in large numbers of migrants from the third world
