MOSCOW, Oct. 06 (MNA) – A Russian military transport jet has airlifted some 40 metric tons of essentials from Armenia to people in need in war-torn Syria, the Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday.
"A second batch ofxfood and clothes has been delivered toxSyria fromxArmenia asxpart ofxa humanitarian assistance effort. An Il-76 military airlifter of Russia’s Aerospace Forces brought 40 tonnes ofxpreserves, vegetables, fruits, flour, sugar and other essentials toxthe Hmeymin airbase," the ministry’s statement read.

The first batch ofxsupplies fromxArmenia, a small ex-Soviet nation inxthe Caucasus mountains, is already being shared outxamong worst-hit Syrian towns.x

Unfortunate that in 2016 we still have Armenians in Syria.

We have blue skies over Hayastan. Hayastan is your home. You can return to Hayastan now after 100 years. Take this option before its late. Armenians fighting for Syria is a disgrace.....Use your knowledge & fighting skills against our #1 Enemy. Don't fight for some islamic dog country.

The majority of Syrian Armenians in Armenia say they want to go back to Syria as soon as the situation improves. Syria is a multi faith country. Historically, Armenians have been more proud fighting for the Byzantines, Arabs, Persians, Ottomans, Russians, Soviets and Americans than for Armenia!

I wonder how our resident davatchan reconciles with the fact that the western funded terrorists are slaughtering our people and only Russian involvement has turned the tide against them? .

It is true that the threat to the Armenian community in Aleppo is coming from the western-supported 'rebels' of East Aleppo. Syrians say many of the so called rebels are not Syrians at all, but foreign mercenaries

Հալեպում հրթիռակոծությունից 2 հայ է զոհվել։ Սիրիայում հրապարակվող «Գանձասար» հայկական թերթի տեղեկություններով՝ կրակի տակ է հայտնվել հայաբնակ Նոր Գյուղ թաղամասը։ Հրթիռակոծությունից զոհվել է 1986-ին ծնված Գասպար Շատոյանը եւ 1987-ին ծնված Մովսես Մովսիսյանը։ Վիրավորվել է Վարուժան Տոնապետյանը։

Հիշեցնենք, որ սեպտեմբերի 30-ից ահաբեկչական խմբավորումները հրթիռակոծում են Հալեպի հայաբնակ Նոր Գյուղ եւ Վիլլաներ թաղամասերը։

Հալեպում վիրավորված հայերից մեկը մահացել է

Հալեպում վերջին օրերին սաստկացած հրթիռակոծությունների հետևանքով երեկ զոհվել էին Նոր Գյուղի հայկական թաղամասերի պաշտպանությանը մասնակցած` ՀՅԴ անդամներ Մովսես Մովսեսյանն ու Գասպար Շաթոյանը:

Ըստ «Գանձասար»-ի՝ հրթիռակոծությունների հետևանքով երեկ վիրավորվել են նաև Շահե Բանոյանն ու Հակոբ Աբրահամ Չալլաքյանը, վերջինս հետագայում ենթարկվել է վիրահատության, ապա՝ մահացել:

Currently how many Syrian Armenians are settled in Armenia? And is government taking care of them? Is it true that they are building homes in Kashatagh?
