Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

When you insure your car or house the insurance company does not help itself to your spare tyre or the steering wheel as an example nor negotiate away part of your garden.

Also when we refer to the insurer, it carries the whole risk for a price.
It does not have any other benefits over above that price.
Nor does it have the right to negotiate with the opposing party at your expense.

It is important to be aware of the price/cost we have paid.
Also what premium we are expected to pay when the next demand comes in.

Lets not forget that the insurer is also benefiting from our purchased insurance policy.

Kemal invaded and massacred armenians in Kilikya, right in front of French forces. Who was supporting Kemal? France or Russia?

How much did Soviet Russia help Kemal?
How much did Britain, France, Italy and USA help Kemal?

Remember , British, French, Italian and US warships outside Izmir with orders not to intervene, while Kemal murdered 100,000+ Greeks and Armenians in the city

What about the Crimean war? Who kept the Ottoman empire from collapsing? Britain and France

This article has as much BS as Vrej1915's anti-Russian rantings!
      My Dear,
you have a big problem with chronology.
You reed a history book arabic style, or if wish, you look the film on reverse mode.
Put dates on your events, may be you will find something new ?

Turkish and Soviet coordinated Invasion of Independent Armenia: 20 Sept 1920
is your interpretation. Your interpretation is wrong, see below wikipedia

Kemal invaded Armenia in the middle of September - Vratzian set telegrams to the British and French asking for help to stop Turkey, he did not mention Soviet Russia

Soviet Russian forces entered Armenia 2 months later when it was clear that Armenia would collapse.

Soviet Russia would not allow kemal to take more territory of the former Russian empire
                wikipedia
At 2:30 in the morning of September 13, five battalions from the Turkish XV Army Corps crossed the Turkish-Armenian border and surprised the thinly spread and unprepared Armenian armies at Olti and Peniak (now Penek village in Şenkaya district). By dawn, Karabekir's forces had occupied Peniak, and the Armenians had suffered at least 200 casualties and been forced to retreat east towards Sarıkamış.[34] As neither the Allied powers nor Soviet Russia reacted to Turkish operations, on September 20 Kemal authorized Karabekir to push onwards and take Kars and Kağızman.
                ...........................
The Turks, headquartered in Alexandropol, presented the Armenians with an ultimatum which they were forced to accept. They followed it with a more radical demand which threatened the existence of Armenia as a viable entity. The Armenians at first rejected this demand, but when Karabekir's forces continued to advance, they had little choice but to capitulate.[36] On November 18, 1920, they concluded a cease-fire agreement.[10] During the war the Turkish Army carried out mass atrocities against Armenian civilians. These include mass rape and massacres with tens of thousands of civilians executed. Atrocities occurred in Kars and Alexandropol.[7][8][9]

As the terms of defeat were being negotiated between Karabekir and Armenian Foreign Minister Alexander Khatisyan, Joseph Stalin, on the command of Vladimir Lenin, ordered Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze to enter Armenia from Azerbaijan in order to establish a new pro-Bolshevik government in the country. On November 29, the Soviet Eleventh Army invaded Armenia at Karavansarai (present-day Ijevan).[36]

Fearing the capture of Yerevan and Echmiadzin by Turkish forces in the case that the Bolsheviks should not arrive, the Armenians signed the Treaty of Alexandropol on December 2, 1920 with Turkey.

I have heard about a people with a slave mentality who never learn any lessons, blaming Russians, bolsheviks and others, never taking any responsibility for their own disasters, proudly talking about their "survival", while millions have been brutally massacred

Were bolsheviks in charge of the Armenian army on September 13, 1920? Where is your evidence?
Or were Armenians completely useless at gathering intelligence to warn that an invasion was approaching?

Was it the bolsheviks to blame or was it the Armenian slave mentality, that depended 100% on the British and French for defending Armenian border with Turkey , instead of relying on their own Armenian forces?

The Armenian leaders in 1920 wanted to prove that they were 100% loyal to their new masters, the British and French. This is one of the reasons the bolsheviks became friendly to the Turks. That policy resulted in disaster

You are recycling soviet era, soviet propaganda labeled history.
You are the biggest propagandist here because you ignore everything in wikipedia and recycle your own BS
