Re: Eurasian Customs Union
Very informative interview. No propaganda, no sky is falling and most important, convincing thoughts about necessity of Armenia joining in Eurasian Union.
What Nazarbayev said was Kazakhistans desire that Armenia not bring Artsakh issue into the Eurasian Union because this union cannot solve this issue. This is in line with international acceptance that only Misnk Group is autorised to carry the negotiations for a solution. This is also to make clear that Armenia's borders represent internationally accepted , By UN, borders. This doe not harm Artsakh.
But on the other hand, Armenia becoming a newly forming powerfull alliance member, worries Azerbaijan that Armenia can develop powerfull levers in solving Artsakh issue in it's benefit. I'd rather say that there is a hint of panic in baku's letters. And Nazarbayev's statements rather are directed in pacifying Azery and turkic worries.
But you know, if Armenia breaks tru blockade for once, or substantially minimizes blockade effects, then baku's power in dispute solving diminishes enourmeusely. So is turkey's
I don't see any power exept US, that aspires to solve this issue alone. And US solution is the worst for us.
