Why the air becomes "misty" because of dramatic air flow speed changes and created vortexes , I don't know. But if you could color enhance the slowed air going over top of wings and the vortexes created at certain spots, it would exactly coincide with the mist you see.
The picture shown of the aircraft breaking the sound barrieris producing a vapor all around the aircraft as it goes through the sound barrier.
The picture Londontsi showes, specific vaor trals from various leading edges of the plane + a general vapor trail toward aft section of plane.
Traversing the sound barrier creates a sudden , dramatic change in air speed , creating the vapor that inshrouds the singular point from transonic to supersonic.
The Londontsi pic is not of the plane traversing this singular point, but rather as I initially explained.
It seems to me, the "white mist" is vapor that comes about because that air is dramatically slower than supersonic

Latest imagery shows 28 Russian combat planes on the ground in Syria
        http://www.businessinsider.com/lates...n-syria-2015-9

A satellite image has finally unveiled the whole Russian Air Force contingent made of 28 combat planes deployed to Syria: taken on Sept. 21, the photograph shows 4 Su-30SMs, 12 Su-25SMs and 12 Su-24s lined up, in the open air, along runway 17L at al-Assad International Airport, near Latakia, in western Syria.

Whether the aircraft will remain at Latakia (where no hardened shelters have been built yet) or will move somewhere else is unclear. For the moment, they are expected to launch the first sorties from Latakia quite soon.

Based on the couple of videos emerged so far, it seems quite likely that the 28 aircraft deployed to Syria in four-ship formations led by Il-76s, Il-78s and (maybe) An-124 airlifters, in radio silence and shadowing the accompanying cargo/tanker planes to remain “stealth” to radars along the route.

Yes Armynia.......this is the phase from transonic speed to supersonic as the shock wave moves aft from the nose to the tail. You can hear this from the ground as the shock wave passes over you. Sometimes you hear two bangs.....that is because some aircraft surfaces developed keeps a shock wave on the nose of the aircraft and the wings of the aircraft.

The above video image mist that you see is NOT LIKE ABOVE PHOTO!!! two different atmospheric effect at subsonic speed like the pic bellow.

What you see here is dependent on current temperature, dew point, humidity, G force, and the degree of pitch up by the pilot.
When conditions are perfect you get the mist.

It can easely catch on fire from the hot brakes on left side, lol.

I was trying to fine some justifications on that, for instance maybe runway was rainy because if you look carefully runway is rainy and the landing gear may passed over the water.

However, your option is possible too.

If he is hitting puddle of water you might be right.......I think you are right, its water. Can't believe anyone dumping fuel on landing even a rooky.

Runways over there are rough and not well maintained. Plus Russian concrete sucks.

                    To add guys:
All airplanes that I know of from fighters, airliners, to corporate jets.....most have the option to jettison fuel (to bring the aircrft down to landing weight due to emergency) and the discharge valves are located on the lower area of both wingtips.

Now Navy birds I worked on have the ability to fold the wings.......in these cases the fuel dump mast is mid wing because no fuel is carried in the folded section of the wing.
Also you are suppose to dump fuel over water or ocean and avoid jettisoning over cities due to health hazards from JP8 or JetA or whatever fuel used on the specific airplane.

Dumping fuel by the pilot by accident has happened many times.
