Actually, you are wrong. Europe does have large amounts of Oil, under the North Sea.

It is enough oil to sustain UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Northern Germany, Holland, and Belgium.

Yes but Arab soils supply that pal.

What the hell are you rambling on about? If you put it that way YES everywhere you go has at least one iota of some oil. That was not my point though, when I said "has oil" I meant a sufficient amount to distribute and no European nation does that because they are capitalistic and import it.

Tis you that is doing the rambling. Norway, Denmark and Sweden and (until this year) Britain are all net exporters of crude oil. There are many different types of crude oil depending on where in the world it is found, some are best for gasoline, some for petrochemical industries, some for aviation fuel, etc.

Latest News about Oil anf Gaz in Armenia

Rosneftegazstroi to prospect for oil, gas in Armenia

Moscow. (Interfax) - Russia's Rosneftegazstroi is registering a license with the Armenian Energy Ministry to prospect for oil and gas in the Shirak province, 120 km from Yerevan, Ruben Melikonian, the company's vice president, told Interfax.

Melikoian said Armenia had commercial oil an gas reserves. "We will use modern technology to find these deposits," he said.

Geologists have drilled more than 200 prospecting wells, mostly in Central Armenia, since 1947 and found little to show for their efforts. Even so, the Soviet government estimated in 1979 that Armenia hosted a potential 100 million tonnes of oil and 100 billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas.

Rosneftegazstroi will go on to prospect for oil and gas in other regions of Armenia, Melikonian said.

Rosneftegazstroi is thinking of setting up a joint venture and opening a representative office in Armenia, he said.

The company is also interested in the Iran - Armenia gas pipeline construction project, he said.

That is what she said she is saying that IT IS NOT THEIR OWN OIL RESERVE THEY EXPORT IT. Having your own is considered "having oil." If you put it that way every nation in the world has oil. And look what you just said "Britain are all net exporters of crude oil" THAT IS RIGHT, they are exporters. MEaning, they get it from deserts like Iran and IRaq or Saudi Arabia (middle east) and they sel it to other nations for profit. Do your homework.
