It was the bloodlusting Turk that first brought them there saying "Oh hey Kurd kill a bunch of these Armos with us and you'll get their homes and lands in return!" Who wouldn't engage in such tactics for some booty? For a people who had never seen much all of a sudden the world was their oyster and with sword they shall open.
