It is OK Karo jan, just don’t alienate and give up so quick on the Diaspora Armenians. You be surprised what they can do.


Haykakan, my answer to you and many Armenians will not be acceptable. All I can say is that for me it is better to be dead and cool than alive and uncool. Remember, I said for me, not Hayastan.

I've seen many horrible things as a child in the 90's in Hayastan things I don't wish our people to suffer again. But that's not the point I'm trying to make, we've got an opportunity here to attack the turks and xxxx them up so bad that it will be very hard to recover. First now we have an opportunity to take over their businesses and use the profit to build up our country and when we feel like it destroy those businesses. We must be ready to react on what is going on in the world and addaped as soon as we can. There is a lot of money in the diaspora and it can be used to help Armenia and i really mean help it by attacking and taking control over its enemy. You want our lands back? Now are you ready to work for it?

Karo, unfortunately Turkey is the more dominant economy between us two (especially if Turkey's accession to the EU becomes a reality) so if anybody is going to take over anyone's businesses it's going to be Turkey. Armenia is effectively going to fall under Turkish influence because of this one signature by our genius leaders. Plus, considering the position of 90% of the Armenian diaspora about the protocols do you really think that anyone would be interested in putting their money in Turkey? If Western Armenia already is supposed to belong to us, why would we start from scratch anyway?

The % of people who will profit the most is no different then in any other capitolistic country.

This is especially a problem in Armenia.

Anyway Haykakan, about the benefits to Armenia, what do you want me to say... The benefits are not worth the concessions we are making through these protocols! What is better? Finding a job where you make 50$ per week? Or waiting a little and getting a million dollars per year? It's the concession that we are making.

You cannot concede what you do not have! Armenia gives up nothing it has in this deal! You are getting potentially huge benefits and giving up absolutely nothing you possess, like how many times i gotta point this out already. Its funny how when Armenia was soviet the diasporans where saying its a communist country so... now that it is more capitolistic then the USA they are saying its too capitolistic so..... This hypocracy drives me nutts and please look for answers to the border opening issues in my previous posts, Davo i have more then answered every question you asked me very competely and effectively, if you still continue to disagree with me then atleast give me a rational reason.

Haykakan I have said what was needed to be said. It is hopeless to continue with you because nothing will change your mind. You seem convinced that the protocols are a right thing to do. Anyway, you are entitled to your opinion.

Armenia gives up nothing? Let me say this.
Starting Saturday, Armenia can effectively remove the picture of Ararat from the զինանշան because judging by what happen on Saturday it is never going to be ours, it'll always be under Turkish hands. Armenia can also remove the emblems of the four historic Armenian dynasties because it won't be the same anymore.

Forget it Davo jan, Haygakan does not understand or care to understand this simple and vital cause of ours and the dire concessions that Armenia will be making to the bloody turks.

Protocols will Reaffirm Lausanne Treaty, Says Davutoglu

ANKARA (Hurriyet)—The Armenia-Turkey protocols will reaffirm Turkey’s borders with Armenia as outlined by the Lausanne Treaty of 1923, said Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu during a press conference Thursday.

In response to a question about the comparisons made between Turkey’s Lausanne Treaty and the protocols with Armenia, the minister added that the protocols are an agreement with Armenia outlining bi-lateral relations.

The protocols are expected to be signed by foreign ministers of Turkey and Armenia in Zurich on Saturday. Davutoglu asserted that the specifics of the ceremony are to be announced by the Swiss foreign ministry.

“Do not look to voices coming from the [Armenian] diaspora, or from other places. Everything is running its natural course. There is no surprise development on our part concerning this issue, but this is naturally a statement that should be made by Switzerland due to its position,” Davutoglu told a joint press conference along with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Balazs, in Ankara.

Switzerland is expected to make a statement clarifying the details with regard to the signing ceremony, including its venue and the participants.

Turkish diplomats, however, made assurances that the signing ceremony would take place. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Russia at the ministerial level are expected to be present at the ceremony, though it has not been confirmed officially.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced earlier that the protocols would be signed Saturday, although this has not been officially confirmed by Armenia.

“Let’s wait for a statement from the Swiss,” Davutoglu said.

Questioned about Turkey’s participation in the process, Davutoglu said, “Of course, Turkey has basic principles on the issue of participation, which is known by the parties. We believe that all of these parties will calmly reach a solution.”

Replying to another question on the soccer match between the Turkish and Armenian national teams in Bursa on Oct. 14, the minister said Ankara expected President Serzh Sarkisian to come to Turkey to watch the national match with no preconditions.

Davutoglu recalled Turkish President Abdullah Gul’s visit to Yerevan last year to watch the match and said the president demonstrated big political courage that led to positive results.

“Now, similarly, we would like Mr. Sarkisian to come to Turkey with no preconditions, with no expectations. It is not even correct to make this an issue of discussion. Sporting matches are such where fairness, friendship and humanitarian communities come to the fore. From this perspective, we expect Mr. Sarkisian to come to Turkey and we believe that will happen,” said Davutoglu.

Asked about Thursday’s meeting between the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents in Moldova to discuss the Nagorno-Karabakh dispute, the minister said, “We naturally expect positive results.”

i agree with you but i hope something weakens turkey someday like they start a war with iran or we attack with greece with two pronged strategy or a natural things hits turkey like very bad floods and earthquakes
