Can your statement be the reflection of a "backward" view - just joking - on alliances and cooperation?

I view it as a cost effective solution to National Security and, in this case, the convergence of both Armenian and Russian interests.
Also, is it fundamentally different from collaboration or foreign presence in other fields such as the energy, the economy, sciences etc.?
No those countries aren't independent. Foreign powers don't just go around doing people favors. Why don't you want to be able to stand on your own two feet?

I dont know about you, but I dont like being anyone elses b*tch.
I wonder what is your understanding of "backward" and "independent???" Are Iran and/or Turkmenistan less "backward" and more "independent" than Germany - I believe that you have mentioned those two countries????

In an alliance - just like in a business partnership - none of the parties is necessarily a "b*tch," even when some of the members are more powerful and at times, can be more influent in the decision making process; being a "b*tch" is a state of mind, an attitude; not a position.

P.S. I understand that the following simply reflects a personal preference and may be irrelevant to the discussion.
Despite the fact that I harshly criticize the US-Israel tandem - and its European allies - in its unfair and relentless anti-Iranian campaign; I would rather see Armenia become as "backward" and "not independent" as Germany and never become as "not backward" and "independent" as Iran and/or Turkmenistan.

What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.
