I am trying to get information on the novels of an Armenian/American novelist.
I believe his name is Richard Hagopian. He published novels in the 1940s and 1950s. They were set in Revere, Massachuesetts, a community that was then going through a period of change -- a largely (perhaps as large as 60%) of the city (pop:35,00) was of Italian heritage and the Armenian citizens were the newcomers. This novelist wrote about this stress and I would like to learn more about him, his novels, and that period. I grew up in Revere, but it may be that I have a lot to learn about it and I think this novelist could be of help in that regard. Please send me an e-mail if you know anything about this writer. Thanks.
