I really like the one with the shield on it too, but I love the flag just the way it is as well!! No reason to waste time changing it.

Reminds of me Russia and Bulgaria respectively.

I really like our flag, it distinguishes itself from all the others and it's pretty bad ass!

Actualy our flag is almost identical to three or four other flags. Check out the previous pages in this thread. One of the reasons me, sev and fed are talking about alternatives is because there is not much about it that is distinctly Armenian. Things like a coat of arms etc could give it the unique Armenian flavor and represent our nation better.

Well we finely know why we like eagles on our flag, just look at that distinct armenian nose on that bird lol. Those two eagles with Ararat in the background sounds good. We need to get Ararat back somehow, its our national symbol and its not in our nation anymore, really pisses me off.

I know it resembles I also posted some pages ago, to Venezuela, Colombia, etc.....but it's an upside down flag theirs, ours is different.

IMO, what we should do is put the coat of arms as an obligatory outline of our flag, not just the colors.

That looks very good to me. It has both geographical (Ararat) and historic (the two eagles) distinctly Armenian features plus it looks good overall.
