Many things passed off as "Armenian" are and were Turkish, Azeri or Persian.

Not really, because while my ancestors were the merchants of Asia minor, yours were stealing sheep and mutilating women from neighboring tribes in the Mongolian plateau.

You know these are cheap words and these words have no significance to make stuffs Armenian.

I know you said sheep thief to my ancestors because of your hatred. The fact is while my ancestors had many multicultural empires, yours were living in clans. I hope it rings bells to understand the reality.

We cannot know that Dolma is Armenian or Turkish. If it is Armenian, Why the tolma (dolma) is Turkish word and Armenians use Turkish name. ( It comes from the verb dol-mak ( to get full ) please check out dictionary of nisanyan :http://www.nisanyansozluk.com/search.asp?w=dolmak in the dictonary tü means türkçe - turkish root .

What about manti? Are turks sure that it is turkish food? Funny!
All cultures affected each other and tastes mixed. ( Don't forget this!!)

No matter that dolma (sarma), baklava, helva,lokum,manti and others belong to which nation. The important thing is that we have tasted them and known how delicious they are. Unfortunately nationalism is in everywhere and makes dirty even our foods.
