I was so outraged to hear what happened, that i joined this forum just to discuss it.

To sum it up. Armenian teenagers, from their tagging seems like they are from AP, tagg a armenian auto body shop, owner comes out and tells them to leave, they turn around and shoot the owner.

Now what kind of armenians are you people. all these little kids runnin around yelling their armenian pride out, yet they turn around and shoot a fellow armenian, who did not do anything but tell them to leave. these are the same armenians you will see at the april 24 march, with flags out their windows, but a second later will shoot you, if you do somethin they dont like.

all i can say is screw these armenians, they are not real armenians. we as armenians are a small population (well maybe not here in Los angeles, but around the world) we have to stand behind each others back, and support one another, not kill each other.

I say this new breed of wannabee armenian power members are nothing but loosers trying be tough guys, but are nothin but little xxxxxes. The older Ap members from back in the days till mid 90s. those people all looked out for each other and for the armenian community. I say this because i know a few of those guys.

Also, some of you might say oh they wont have just shot the guy over that, there must have been a reason behind it. there isnt, i know the guy who was shot personally. He did not say or do anything to provoke the shooting.

To all the new breed of AP members, first go learn what it is to be an armenian ,and stop being the fake as armenians as you are.

Armenians are no more or less responsible when one of its misguided youth commit crime against anyone than any other member of an ethnic group/race is when one of its own commits a crime.

Those kids are punks. Ok. Got that.

Call their parents and complain.

Why blame the parents? Maybe it's pressure from there friends.
Example: A teenager comes home from school one day, both parents work, so friend comes over & says lets go tagging (for example).... so they go & do there thing. Why would the parents be fault & these days alot of kids ar ehome alone because both parents have to work.

Who is responsible for teaching them values, morals, ethics, discipline etc.
Ok, so the kids f'ed up and defaced someone's property. They got caught. They should still have been instilled with the common sense and understanding by their parents, elders, etc. that shooting someone unless in defense of self or others is not socially acceptable behavior.

Peer pressure, smeer pressure!

Who is responsible?

It is not you or me.

And, latch key kids have been around for decades now so the concept that teenage kids are hanging out together without supervision because their parents are working does not suffice as an excuse or explanation.

So your saying kids dont rebel against there parents?
If parents teach them good values & morals & they still go & vandalize you still blame the parents?
So are parents supposed to monitor there children 24/7 with a camera or something?
