    Re: For all the armenians

Shooting someone that id'd you defacing their property is not rebelling against your parents.

Rebelling against your parents, consists of, mostly harmless acts, like wearing a mohawk, ditching school, blowing dope, etc.

If these individuals are under 18, guess what the parents are on the financial hook.

They are not only morally responsible for the conduct of these punks.

    They are legally responsible also.

Thats why the goverment is so corrupted.
People make choices of there own & they should be responsible for there actions, even if they are under 18.

            Re: For all the armenians

I don't really have anything substantial to contribute (unfortunately my intelligence is on the skim side), but I wanted to drop in and comment on how some of the discussions in the Armenian section of the forum are just phenomenal. Such depth, variety and originality is hard to come by in other Armenian forums on the Internet. Bravo!

As I said, just wanted to comment and give my support.

This is a very unfortunate incident and I pray to god it is the last we hear of.
It is for sure something we do not need between us. We have been known to be a race/community that stood by each other.

I agree with freaky, regardless of peer pressure, parents have a lot to do with the mentality kids grow up with, in more than one way.

                Pepsi,
You show a lot of respect and consideration to wards others. You didn't learn that in school or from your friends, right?

                  Re: For all the armenians

I never said you dont learn good morals from parents, I said that why should parents be blamed for things there child does. I'll say the example again if your child does something worng (ex: tags on walls) & is under 17 why should the parents be blamed. Even if the parents teach u good morals, your going to tell me that peer pressure has no affect on you?

No one knows the whole story but it shouldn't be surprising that in a poor ethnically concentrated neighborhood that one member commits a crime against another member. What if it was a black store owners and black gangs? Mexicans? It will always be around. It happens all the time in Armenia if you think about it.

My post was specifically at your comment about how now we know how blacks feel.

My point was, what was the relevance of it? The relevance of anything is open ended. Some things are relevant, some are not. It matters on the context. In this context, who cares about how blacks feel?
