        Some of my favorite Armenian names are Ani, Maral, Talin, Tamar, Ovsanna, Avedis, and Sasoun.

            of course I'm serious, these are pure armenian names coming back from the mythology where men were gods and gods were men, and probably the collective memory and my pagan side guided this choice. Why do find them 'old fashioned' ?

                    yes I would, and just call them dzovig or asdghik, these are not very used names tough, I agree with you, but they sound very pretty and much better than the spread over names like siranouch, vehanouch and other ...nouch's
