    Re: Life in Armenia

Wasn't sure which thread to put this question under, but it could affect life in Armenia:

    Opinions on Richard Morningstar?

Are these numbers correct, because they don't seem to add up

20% more people leave Armenia this year than last – newspaper

    May 22, 2012 | 07:20

YEREVAN. – A total of 57,320 people left and did not return to Armenia in the first four months of 2012, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“This number is publicized by the State Migration Service of the Territorial Administration Ministry.

[A total of] 47,610 people had left and not returned to Armenia in the same time period last year. That is, the indicator rose by more than twenty percent as compared with the year past.

The number of those who left and did not return comprised 29,222 in April alone. It is apparent that this indicator will further rise in line with the data of May,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.

I must say i was really surprised to see this map. I wouldn't place our hunger that high, there must be some mistake.

Armenian women are tired of single rose wrapped in plastic: they want Ferrari, male strippers and vacation trips as gifts

    March 07, 2012 | 22:55
The wishes of Armenian girls and women change year by year. Women, who previously wished for flowers, perfume and dinners at restaurants, want something more creative and bold now. Armenian News-NEWS.am conducted a small survey among women and the results prove the above mentioned facts.

Girls who are car lovers want Ferraris or Mazdas, more modest ones wish for dresses or xxxelry.

Lilith, 26, wishes to be in a Spanish coastal city or in one of Yerevan’s night clubs in order to choose the best stripper for her husband. Armine, 32, whishes a one week trip to London instead of a single rose wrapped in plastic.

Varduhi, 23, wishes that her beloved dances striptease for her.

Exactly. I've grown up with the same thing except between "Hayastansis" and "Parskahyes". It is not enough that we are surrounded by 100 million enemy Turks from all sides of our fragile nation, we have to create enemies among ourselves?
