  • Hair is going.

Hello to everyone here that is registered for the forum (hyeclub.com/forum)

My name is Ivan and I am of course Armenian. If I was not Armenian, I do not think I would be in this forum today.

I wanted to ask for some help because I am losing my head hairs. They are slowly going somewhere away. It is upsetting me very much actually because I am quite young still. I am aged 27 years of age. (Born in 1981)

I want to ask why so many Armenians are losing hairs? Why this terrible thing is happening to us? I do not understand it because I know some other people in my life and it is not happening to them. But it is happening to my Armenian friends and family who are the same age as me.

I would like to know what is the reason and what will I do about it next?

    Ivan.

It's because your body produces extra amounts of dehydrotestosterone, which is responsible for hair loss in men.

If you have used gel or hair spray containing alcohol, that would also contribute to it, so stop it immediately.

Second, cut your hair short. Buzz it off, as it will stimulate your hair growth.

Lastly, massage your scalp with olive oil.

And by the way, if any doctor advises you to use Propecia, DO NOT! That will stop your hair loss but it affects mens libido. I don't know about you, but I'd rather have no hair over no libido.

In Vigilante's case, less hair means more libido.

        Olive oil?

Isn't there some stuff you can rub on your head to reduce the DHT deposits. I have a bit of "thinning" as well and was thinking about taking some actions to offset/delay this as I age.

First of all, you need to go to the doctor's, a specialist. But the best, the most efficient medication that exists today (according to specialists themselves) to stop hair loss is Minoxidil. Not only it will slow balding/ stop your hair loss but also it stimulates hair regrowth gradually. You've got to apply it to your scalp on a regular basis, meticulously and with a lot of patience to see the results in a few months. I am almost sure the doctor would recommend Minoxidil with necessary dosage for you.
Unfortunately, just as most medications, it does have some side-effects (may cause hair growth in some unwanted places like the face, forehead, or some other place, etc.) but it's more problematic for women than men.

And stop using, gels, hair sprays, styling waxes and blow-dryer, iron, etc.

I have good, nice hair ("touch wood") that I can't handle on my own. LOL, I can give you some if you want.

Skhara, you may simply need a regenerating product/ medication to use regularly to stop the "thinning" which may lead to hair loss, in the future.

What do you guys eat? A healthy diet, good nutrition may help you a lot.

I don't think it'll help me, I am pretty much a health nut job both in terms of diet and physical conditioning. Incidentally, I was browsing the web one time and reading about "natural" hair restoration. Besides their topical creams, they sold a multivitamin formula that was supposed to help hair growth. Although, I take a multi anyway and don't really trust "special" blends of stuff that you get daily anyway. The organism uses the vitamins and minerals that it needs or can use and disposes of the rest.

Anyway, I might give one of these DHT on the scalp reducers a go. If it significantly reduces the amount of hair I have on my comb, or just in general reduction "shedding", I'll be happy.

you can try rogaine or hair transplants, which can be costly, other than that there's pretty much nothing you can do it's just genetics.

You can also go to a dermatologist or a doctor and they can tell you if it's from something like a thyroid problem or some other problem, however it's most likely it's genetics

What would a thyroid problem have to do with hair loss?
