      Also the word "ara", if said to a random person you don't know can be really offensive, means in some way disrespect to the other person.

      It's so offensive that my Dad's friend, who's like a father figure to me, when 3 random guy's in Erevan said to him "Ara Aper"

      He replied "Yete Ara ov es xosoom, eem (Armenian word for male genital) ko mor (Armenian word for female genital) metch"

      "Yete Ape ov es xosoom, sharoonagi."

        "Tso" is also common in Western Armenian, except they pronounce it "Dzo".
