Re: Does Armenia have Nuclear Weapons?

About the nukes I'm not that sure we don't have any, because I've heard some stuff on the Russian tv saying that there were a few countries who had hidden nuclear bombs like Israel and Armenia. So I really don't know.

And I've to say it's retarded to forbid laser, it's like the pope forbidding the crossbow in the middle ages because the arrow could penetrate the knights armor.

Re: Does Armenia have Nuclear Weapons?

During Soviet Union, Armenia had a bustling economy which included a nuclear power plant. Now when you pass through these once prospours places its all broken down and dis functional. I don't think we have enough money or resources to keep a nuclear plant anymore.

Well only if someone will finance it for us....... I dont think we have 12 Billion lying around for that. However Im guessing that if the EU is serious about having us shut down metsamor then they're gonna have to chip in some dough.

The new NPP will cost about 5 billion dollars and will have double or even triple the capacity of our current NPP. It's scheduled to be operational by 2016 just in time for Metsamor's decomissioning. The major powers have all approved the construction of the new one.

We will manage. It's not like we're gonna pay 5 billion in one shot plus foreigners will help us finance it. And if you think this mega-project is a lot, Armenia is also building an oil refinery, a hydroelectric PP and a rail link with Iran + a new route that links Armenia with the Black Sea through Georgia.

Re: Does Armenia have Nuclear Weapons?

Yes Armenia does have nuclear weapons but unfortunately the technology is not modern its Soviet era, and also Armenia would not have the financial resource to afford state of the art Nuclear Weapons I guess Armenia would have to take loans from Russia. As Armenia gets richer and has more clout in the region over the years Armenia will undoubtedly be able to defend herself in a military and most appropriately diplomatic manner
