Does anyone know what the average rent for a family permanently living in Yerevan is in average conditions? Nothing fancy and nothing crummy and dirty.

Well just search on google & you will find something.

I just did a search just for the heck of it, I typed (Apartments in Armenia) & a whole list came up.

That is really nuts. I always figured Armenia probably went for more of a Euro-socialist type system, with higher taxes, more government control, etc. I have never been there though and I don't know much about things internally there. Perhaps somebody who has lived there could enlighten us?

Mizzike there's alot of infor about Armenia on the Internet so if you have time you could check it out just use google & narrow your search.
