There comes a point in life where everyone goes searching to discover who they are. The only ones that don't lose themselves are those who still remained close to their roots even though they didn't embrace it growing up.

There was an article recently about Kurdish supporter of PKK who discovered he is Armenian and started a community of hidden Armenians among Kurds...we have lots of such people among Kurds,Zaza,Turks...we need to wake them up and also Hamshens...have you seen their videos? Another case of white Armenian community ...

Well in my mother class, 40% of the students had blue eyes. (and this was from a poor neighbourhood in Yerevan)

Guys, while for us the main thing is to be Armenian no matter what we should realize the world is divided into whites and non whites...we are practically the only nation who doesn't care and stands in between ( like always) But we can't just say " we don't care we are Armenians", we have to be somewhere and since we don't care our enemies happily put us there where we simply don't belong neither with our looks, not with our history, geography,civilization...

Armenians should start responding to all propaganda against even if you consider it childish...One day that propaganda result will strike us, how could we ever imagine that Azeri Tartars after committing 3 genocides on us (1905, 1918, 1988) will make up some Khojalu and make some countries (Georgia and UK) sign it? All 20 years we silently watched propaganda being convinced that the truth will win, no, it doesn't..we have to fight for it....

I guess when they take genetic researches on these "Turks" they appear "very similar" to Armenians

or converted to Islam for better life (convrsion mandetory in all those cases).....the ones who remained Christian, remained Armenian.

And some converted ones are going back to their faith and roots...

Many armenian women that were raped during genocide, killed themselves after, very rarely did they stay. The way Armenian blood got into Turks was really the Turkifying of Armenian kids, or more likely orphans.

Exactly, and my family is from Istanbul. Before that, my mom's side has roots in Van. Armenians did not mix with Turks unless they were kidnapped, raped or "adopted". It was just nailed into our ancestor's heads.

What you are is what you are. I know I'm not from Japan, China , India or Africa simply by looking in the mirror. If I didn't know I was Armenian, I would have never been interested in Armenian history nor would I have cared about Armenian issues.

Why Turkish? What does a Turk look like? Anyway, I don't know much about the Ethiopian Armenian community, how have their numbers fared throughout history since they first settled there? This is actually an interesting matter that I'd like to know more about.

Why Turk? Because people say we are mixed. Who else Armenians living in occupied Western Armenia would mix last centuries if not mostly Turks? People say Armenians and Turks look alike (which is not true in most cases) because we were part of OE. But the point is it is exactly Western Armenians/Diaspora which is whiter than Republic of Armenia/Eastern Armenia which was under Russian control. If we are mixed then Russian Armenia should be whiter which is not the case. So theory of mixing is not right, we mixed not more than any other Southern or eastern European country did ...

Armenians better than anyone else know that most European looking Turks have Armenian blood through kidnapping our girls, women and kids. Turkish saying goes "if you were blond in childhood you most likely have Armenian blood"...The genetic flow was from us to them, not vise versa...
