It's easy to say one would go while in a safe place, but when you actually have an AK-47 in your hands, the enemy in front of you, men dying left and right, and you getting shot at, it's a whole other picture. When you realize your life can end right there, it is much different feeling. I like to say I would fight, but it's difficult to say for sure, I both love my country but I also love my own life.

It's more difficult NOT to considering you will become a homeless nomad. At least you can sleep at night now knowing that if something happens to you wherever you are, you can go back to Armenia for refuge as a last resort.

But what of your family who are alongside & behind you?
Brothers to fight with you, sisters to be protected. Every brave soldier is scared before battle, in battle and after battle.

I believe the soldier isn't afraid of dying, he is afraid of dying without taking as many enemy lives as possible. Dying knowing that you killed the invading scum must be a good feeling indeed.

Apres merhayrenik, being scared is different to being afraid. You put it well, the tatars know in their heartless chests that every bullet counts and will speed them on their way.

If a another war was about to break lose,
no doubt in my mind Armenia will win, if
farmers back then in 1992 fought with rakes,
and with the diaspora help made us win, then no
doubt in this era we will win.

But, back to the topic if war does break out
I would love to go fight, but the problem is if
my family will let or not?

My position is much easier from urs cause if even i didn't wont to my mother will sent me by force.First step of my will be to join some groups from greece and flight jointly with them,the point is will i go as regular army man or feday?

Going and fighting in Artsakh has always been a dream of mine, I want to go there and fight. And I believe every one should help any way they can. Not every one is fighter, but they can donate money, help politically there are many ways to help our cause and support the soldiers.

And please people stop underestimating our enemies, they have numbers in men and more arms. They have more money to spend. We have the better soldier and moral but that alone is not enough to win we need to go and fight and not sit at home and think "oooh we will win no problem." And then lose Artsakh.

Agreed and deeply sad cause it is true not every man is able mentally or bodily to fight,reducing states man power greatly,last time a number of volunteer went into war but if we consider the hole of diaspora we have small numbers, eventually the end of war who's given by the state of Armenia that at that time were willing the ending of it,so as we like it or not the real choice is in Armenians in Armenia it self,cause there are not many military educated armenians in diaspora,remember the 2 war will be professional using full scale tactics in my opinion.
