Exactly right. Hitler once remarked that he trusted the Muslims in his army more than the Armenians. This was mainly because Armenians were motivated by nationalism, not Nazi ideology.

Yes, I have read that members of the Armenian legion helped save the lives of some joos, remembering the suffering and destruction our people experienced just a few decades earlier.

On a related note, I find it ironic that it is ok to mention that Armenians were involved with the German war effort, as if by extension that means Armenians supported the Nazi's 100%, but too many are afraid to mention the highly suspicious role joos (many young turks were donmeh joos) had in the Armenian Genocide and their continued denial of the Armenian Genocide both in the u.s. and israel.

Well, I once read that the Germans ordered the Armenian units in the German Army to kill J ews... so I really doubt it... Hitler promised a greater Armenia so we might have done what they wanted us to do.
